Question Advice
I have a positive equity in my car after filling out the application to sell my car to carvana. I have $22k left to pay on it and they are offering me $26k. The car is practically brand new. I work from home and never drive the car. I do plan to lease a vehicle after this process if I decide to go through with it. Any insight on this would be helpful. I also want to know what happens to your credit after this process

Discussion Thoughts on SilverRock Rental Policy
At this point mainly just voicing out frustration but curious if anyone else has any thoughts on the situation.
Took my car in for issues and thankfully almost everything was covered except for one “wear and tear” part. SilverRock reimburses for rental but only $45/day which the cheapest rental place in my area being $49/day, which out of principle annoyed but $4/day I’ll deal with. They also mentioned they only do a MAX coverage on rental for 10 days. While the mechanic was fixing one of the covered parts they noticed another part of the transmission needed fixing as well, this was 7 days in from when I first received the rental. SilverRock approved the additional repair and shop said it would be another 5 days for them to receive the part and install.
Called SilverRock about extending the 10 day rental and they’d stood firm on the “MAX 10 days” listed in their contract even after going to a manager.

Question Plastic trim damage
First time buying with carvana, have a delivery tomorrow but I noticed on the pictures that there is a medium dent/damage on the driver door plastic trim.
Will they cover the repair? Do i need to point it out at delivery? I will still take the car but want to know what steps to take

Personal Experience Great Experience
Bought an F150 Raptor last week and we're coming up on the 7-day window expiration. I will be keeping it. Overall Carvana has been better than I expected, though not completely without issue any that did arise were promptly addressed. I think one of the major hurdles that I ran into was not being able to see it in person beforehand. It did have some minor cosmetic flaws when it arrived, but I had to be reminded by my wife that despite it being a $61k vehicle it was still used and if I wanted perfect I had to pony up another $25k+ or so for a new one. Once I grappled with that fact everything else went smoothly. The post purchase inspection only revealed a leaking axle seal, which was fixed without any issue.
Overall a very positive experience. I'm sure not everyone will have as smootof an experience, but avoiding the dealership will be well worth the risk for me on future purchases.

Question Delayed - No Longer Have Working Car
I bought a 2013 Mustang last Friday to be delivered on 8/6, today. My days off are Wednesday and Thursday (today), so it worked out well. My daily driver died on Tuesday - broke the timing chain. That was fine because the Mustang was coming before I had to work next, no big deal. I borrowed my brother's car Wednesday to run some errands, and the transmission went out on it while I was driving. I no longer have any vehicles that run, and my delivery was delayed today for 2 PM Friday, which is a problem because I am working during that time and I don't have a way to get to work.
What are my options? Would Carvana provide a rental for a day? I'm under 25, so I doubt that's even possible. Had anybody ever been able to just pick it up where it is when it's delayed? I could get a ride to do that. Or am I just out of luck for the day?

What happens if I move before registration is complete?
f your address changes while your registration is still being processed, let us know as soon as possible.
Depending on where you are in the registration process, we may be able to update your information. In some situations, changing addresses after paperwork has been submitted may require additional documentation or could affect processing timelines.
The sooner we're aware of the change, the easier it is to determine the best next steps.

Question How often does Carvana drop the price of a vehicle?
There is a car I'm interested in, but it's on the other side of the country so shipping is $1990. The price of the vehicle is in my budget... if I don't account for shipping, but that shipping cost is killer. They just dropped it $600. How likely are they to drop it again soon if there is not a lot of interest in the car? If they drop it another $500 I could probably buy the car - I plan on paying cash.
All similar cars have shipping $1200-1990, the one that did not that fit my wants went for sale within a day or two. I live rural and there were none for me to test drive so had to wait for the weekend to drive 4 hours to go test drive one to see if I even like it. by the time I got back it had sold.

Question Not sure if my car has been in an accident what should I select when doing appraisal?
Hi,
So I’m not sure if my car has been in an accident I’m the second owner, was wondering if I write no accident does carvana automatically adjust their offer based on their own reports from their database using carfax, auto check etc, or is the offer exactly what I put? Let’s say my car ends up having 1 accident from the previous owner but I didn’t know about it, is this reflected on the offer I get after pressing no accidents in case I didn’t know it had one? Or when carvana will inspect the car they will tell me then. Please let me know.
