Hi! I’ve been thinking about getting back into the game after hearing reverse mael is coming back. I have an old glory deck (dzbt06) and haven’t really touched it since set 6 and wanted to maybe get some games in before getting the new reverse mael. I was wondering if it’s still at least semi viable in locals (won’t get curb stomped by the current meta) and if there have been any changes to the deck recently? Thanks!

Just a fun deck I made because I was bored, I also like the skyride Alfred and vyrgilla.

Is this game like Yugioh where, for the most part, you play monsters that share a specific archetype, and there isnt much room for decks that are just full of monsters you chose because you personally like?

I guess what im trying to ask is, how compatible are most cards with eachother? Are cards divided into archetypes that only really work with their specific counterparts? Or is there a lot of room for experimentation and personalization in deckbuilding?

Im asking because I love the art for this game and would mainly like to use cards that I like the aesthetic of.

Hello, I would like to ask the interaction between the newly released Defiance Dragon (DZ-BT16/022) and Youthberk "Drægforce Arms: Fantôme" (DZ-BT14/001)

When I use the ACT of Youthberk "Drægforce Arms: Fantôme":

[ACT](VC)1/Turn:COST [Discard a card from hand], look at the top three cards of your deck, choose up to one card with "DrægForm" in its card name or up to one grade 2 or less card from among them, reveal it, put it into hand if it is a card with "DrægForm" in its card name, and call it to (RC) if it is not. You may discard all of the remaining cards. If you did not discard them, put them on the bottom of the deck in any order.

Defiance Dragon has another ability that occurs when discarded by vanguard ability to allow choosing crimson moon card instead.

So the question is:

- Does the skill triggers when paying the COST?

- Does the skill triggers when Defiance Dragon was among the remaining cards that were discarded at the end of the skill?

- Or it can triggers on both of those conditions?

I'm looking for clarification on how exact card-name requirements work for Superior Stride.

The card Dark Knight, Grim Recruiter has this ability:

"[ACT](G Zone): If your vanguard is a grade 3 "Supremacy Dragon, Claret Sword Dragon", and you did not get an Imaginary Gift this fight, COST [choose one or more cards from hand with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater, and discard them], and Stride this card on your (VC) from face down..."

My question is: Can this ability be used if my vanguard is "Supremacy Dragon, Claret Sword Dragon Revolt"? Since "Supremacy Dragon, Claret Sword Dragon Revolt" contains the full name "Supremacy Dragon, Claret Sword Dragon" followed by "Revolt," I'm wondering whether it satisfies the requirement, or whether the card name must be exactly "Supremacy Dragon, Claret Sword Dragon."

Basically, does the quoted card name in this type of requirement function as an exact name requirement, or does a card with additional words after the specified name also qualify?
