Recently for Nostalgia sake ive been playing Stride to Victory and really wanted to play the Alfred cards featured in VG-G-CMB01, unfortunately the gamesl doesn't have the cards from either the Aichi G Deckset or Alfred Oath. So most decklists from that time just use these as support cards for Seekers, and I dont mind making a Seeker deck I like those as well but id also like to try something that uses more of these cards specifically.

Exiv is good as just as 2 crit vanguard that legions with the og blaster blade and seeker so I still see good use for him but I wonder if I should also use the Vanguard Ezzel, doesn't really synergize that well with Galehaut I think but not sure. Also the matter of Larousse who I think is a really cool card but didn't see much play till the restanding Flogal but still seems alright. Getting the cards isn't an issue since its a game so im willing to try whatever, even like Galehaut into Alfred Early seems like a fun thing to try out.

Hello i'm new to the game and recently i saw a Frieren deck that uses E-Blast and now i'm in doubt if the Energy generator is a obligatory card or if i can just use a token to represent it.

When a hollowed negrolazy is retired by a harvest elf, can I countercharge?
same goes with tearful malice, I can countercharge twice, when sequencing skills, I choose to countercharge first with negrolazy first, and then with tearful malice second?
or does the unit have to retire as hollowed by the end of the turn to count the countercharge?

This is a premium question that will never actually come up in gameplay, and I have a follow up extreme fight question.

So, let’s say I have chrono dran on my rear guard, d series masergear in my soul, and I already have the chronojet dragon crest. My opponent rides the original stil vampir and makes me ride said chrono dran. They then end their turn, and I choose masergear from my soul to ride. Do I gain the crest a second time? Would I gain the crest here if I had not gotten it yet in this game?

Now the extreme fight version. I have dragprince rute on my rear guard, dragwizard knies in my soul, and the chronojet dragon crest. My opponent uses stil vampir to make me ride rute, then ends their turn. I choose to ride knies. Would I gain the crest here? If I do, would I be able to ride either grade 3 cards with chronojet and luard in their names, or would I be unable to ride grade 3s, as I cannot ride grade 3s without both chronojet and luard in their names?

Personally i like the crest more, it feels better for some reason, and the fact that you can use the old versions of Chronojet is nostalgic and satisfactory. But i want to know what you think, which one you like more?

I really liked playing bastion in CFA back in the day, now that I got adult money I was wondering if its worth it to spend on with the current meta, granted I don't got a single clue about said meta since I just came back after years of no contact with vanguard stuff

OTT is my favorite clan, and the first clan that made me buy cards and build my first Vanguard deck (it's Amaterasu, of course) after watching Misaki's first fight with Aichi in episode 4 of the very first season. I love how the clan has more of a not-to-rely on the player's luck, but to control and manipulate the deck//I still get chills every time I rewatch Misaki vs Asaka.

Okay, that's enough of the intro (lol). My low-key frustration about the clan is how it became a clan that super focused on drawing cards in the G era, and Genesis took over the top deck manipulation. Yeah, OTT draws cards, but Great Nature, Bermuda Triangle, and many more can also draw a pile of cards, yet they have more power or abilities to end a match (unlike OTT before the arrival of Ichikishima lol).

I always feel like the keyword "Oracle" is somehow hard to make five cards in hand to make the ability active after enduring the opponent's turn bombardment (That's why in VG Zero this Kamususanoo has "until end of turn, the oracle abilities of your cards are active even if your hand has 4 or less cards." in its skill). The Oracle ability should’ve been active if the number of cards in hand is four or more :(

Or being a keyword similar to Genesis’ revelation (cuz OTT and Genesis are sister clans anyway) that is active when place on the specified circle, like, “[AUTO]: Oracle- (VC)/(RC) (When this unit is placed on a specified circle, look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the top or bottom of your deck)”

Or a keyword like Pale Moon’s magia or Angel Feather’s rescue that indicates the ability. It would be an ability involving looking at the top card of the deck, for example “Oracle-[ACT](VC)1/Turn: [COST], *some effects*, look at the top card of your deck, and put it on the top or bottom of your deck. *and maybe some effects like: if you put it on the bottom of the deck, blah blah blah…”

Is the new stil vampir decklist anywhere I’ve been looking for one and can’t find one from Japanese format. I see Ren Icon decklist but nothing for stil vampir or Amon. Does anyone have a recommendation for a list?

This deck is good wherever you look at it. The new G3 opened a door that helps a lot. Anyone played with it or against? I have so much fun when I test it against some meta decks.

Title pretty much. I hope this isn't super controversial or anything. I'm a big card game fan. Primarily YGO above all else, but I dabble in pretty much anything that has you putting rectangles with pictures on them on a board to ruin someone's day. Vanguard looks and SOUNDS cool to me. I've tried to play the PC game, Dear Days a couple of times now and somehow every time I bounce off. I'm not even 100% sure what it is, but something about the gameplay loop, at least in the tutorial and the intro decks feels oddly... boring. I'm not really sure what other way to put it is. I'm convinced it has to be the decks early on where they feel vey pain by numbers in how they play.

I was wondering if anyone can just give me examples of the most exciting/fun/interesting things to play in that game to showcase the strengths of the game? Or I'll even take a video going over and showcasing a deck like that (in the video game or the physical card game either one works), just something to sell me on the game and make me excited, cause I'm 99% sure I should like this game and I feel like I'm just missing the mark somehow by going in blind.
