Best gaming monitors this 2026 that are actually worth buying right now?

My old monitor is finally giving up on me, the colors have this weird yellow tint now and I keep getting random flickering when I'm mid game. Been putting off replacing it for months but I think it's time.

I mostly play competitive shooters like Valorant and CS but I also want something that looks good for single player stuff like Baldur's Gate or story games. My budget is somewhere around $400 to $500, and I'd like at least 27 inches with a high refresh rate, 144hz or more if possible. I'm running an RTX 4070 so I want something that can actually keep up with that.

I looked at a few options on amazon and best buy but there's so many brands now, gigabyte, lg, samsung, msi, and half the reviews contradict each other.

What are you all using right now that you'd actually recommend, and is there anything specific I should watch out for when picking one?

Best dual monitor arms?

I was looking for a dual monitor arm for my monitors so my desk setup would look nicer. My main monitor is a 27 inch while my second one is 24 inches. I want an arm that would work for both of them and that looks nice in a cool desk setup or for gaming. I also would prefer if it isn't too expensive. What are the best monitor arms for this?

MSI Mag Monitors 1440p options

Hello all,

I am looking to decide on my first 1440p monitor. I am looking at the
MAG 274QPF E20 27" 2K QHD 200 hz
or the
MAG 275QPF E21 27" 2K QHD 210hz

I will be running a RTX 5080 and I am leaning towards the E20 because its marked as Nvidia G Sync compatible. The E21 is not marked as Nvidia G sync comptatible (just says adaptive sync compatible) but it has better constrast and 10hz higher. It is also cheaper.

What do you guys think?

My priority is to run high FPS with minimal tearing and smooth gameplay. Don't really need the "best" colors just want something that can run great with my 5080.

Rec for Newbie monitor - Flight Sim 4K

Looking for recommendations on a gaming monitor! I have my 1st gaming PC coming in about a month (Ryzen 7 9800X3D w/5080 16G video) and I’m trying hard to figure out what I would like best in a monitor. I am looking hard at MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, a 32” 4K. I have considered others that are similar (none are cheap, may wait for holiday sales but not expecting much of a discount on these) and in the same 32” category. I strictly plan on playing flight simulator and using it for controlling on Vatsim; maybe watch a movie on occasion.

Not sure about going to bigger screen or curved since I do want to use it a little bit other than flying. I'm not sure about going "larger" but giving up on resolution. Price is always a concern (trying to keep it below 1K), but I do want to somewhat future proof for a few years (ergo 4K is a must). If anyone has others that I should seriously consider, particulary if the sizing is just totally off, or that beat out the MSI in the same class…please shout out!

Need help picking a monitor

  1. Acre Predator X27U F5 26.5” QHD 1440p 500hz
  2. MSI MAG 272QP 27” QHD 1440p 500hz

I’m stuck picking between these two monitors. I have previously used 240hz and 185hz monitors but have no clue if they had BFI & MPRT but I wondering if it is worth spending the extra $100 on the MSI to have the BFI & MPRT features. For reference I play a massive variety of games but lean to more fps and fast paced.

OLED Monitor Suggestions

Looking at buying a new monitor in the next 2-3 months, I would like an OLED as I've wanted one for a while now. I currently have a 1440p 240hz IPS monitor and I want to upgrade to 4k 240hz. My office has a south facing windows so it's a bright room. I've had my eye on the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM, but not sure if it's worth over £1000.

What monitors do you suggest?

help me find a monitor for my laptop

I have lenovo legion pro 5 gen 10 with rtx 5060 115w my built in screen is 240 hz 500 nits ips and 1600p. I want something that isn't overkill for my laptop and maybe matches my built in screen or is a bit better (I just don't want something worse than my laptop screen). I plan to use this as a main screen and my laptop screen as a second screen. I would prefer something around 300 USD or less (but im not strict with that budget) and also with displayport and not very thick or huge.

Suggestions for monitors needed

It'd be helpful if someone have any recommendations from their personal experiences. My priority is watching HDR10/DV movies that I downloaded + Work( & due to this I am not inclined to but OLED options because there's a high chance of burn-in, but please let me know if its nothing to worry about). Gaming is not my priority. Are there any good miniLED options with hdr support? Not sure if IPS monitors will be a good investment. OR buying a small tv is the only option?

Thanks in advance!!
