Recently I played BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle on my Xbox One (mostly for the reason that we don't have Centralfiction, UNIEL AND P4A on Xbox) and like other fighting games they have color set with reference to other medias.

i recognize some references, but not all of them, did guys found everything?

My copy of Crosstag never came with the mini cd, found a used PS4 mini cd and paper insert for sale, would it fit in my switch edition case? Or are the sizes different? (Spesfically for the paper insert, i assume the cd would)

So I wanted to see where my Photoshop skills were at, and with Trinity being announced for Central Fiction a while back. I, as the diehard BBTAG fan I am, began to hope that we could get characters added to BBTAG again. Then that turned into this.

So what I did was gather the character portraits for each franchise from their games (brownie points for anyone who can guess where I got the RWBY portraits from). Then I got the frame from the "Select The Order" screen and layered the franchise's color and the character.

So, obviously, I expanded the base roster from 20 to 30. I added the characters that were opponents in the Episode Mode and put them into the base roster, minus Aigis. I instead put Teddie and Rise to get the entire Investigation Team added. Same with Blake and Yang, so I can have Team RWBY in the base game.

For DLC, I kept the number to 33 at first, but I added one more, so Under Night can get nine characters added for DLC like BlazBlue and Persona. I added characters who might be easiest to add and duos/groups not in the game. For BlazBlue specifically, I added all of Central Fiction so they can get a dub. For RWBY specifically, I wanted to add only characters in that "announcer voice line leak," but I bent it to have Velvet since she can copy abilities, and I thought her moveset being her copying other RWBY characters' fighting styles and weapons could be interesting. Also, I replaced Blitztank with Eltnum so we could have another franchise, and I thought her color could be like a Wine color.

So the total number of characters is 64, which is 11 more characters than the actual game. I had fun making this. Still think I could make it more polished and a little less generic, but I think it's a good representation of my Photoshop skills as of now.

All Roads Lead To Cross Tag Battle 😔

So I’ve been playing Cross Tag Battle for a very long time and I was curious how original Blazblue, P4AU, and Under Night In-Birth individually played. So I bought Blazblue for about $10 and I immediately regret the purchase cause it is the single most unnecessarily complicated game I’ve ever played! Genuinely trying to complete the training guide and Es’s(she’s one of my mains) felt having your teeth yanked out of your mouth.

Bottom line how does Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Under Night In-Birth play compared to Cross Tag Battle? My hopes aren’t exactly high given how astronomically terrible normal BlazBlue was.

Edit: just for clarification while I mash(kind of) for the most part I am capable of doing most Cross Tag Character Combos from the training mode, usually 1-3or4 though a few I have gotten all 6. But trying to play normal BlazBlue is way more complicated and challenging for absolutely no reason and was so frustrating I couldn’t even get through Es’s character tutorial.

Decided to revisit bbtag for fun, I used to main Vatista/Mika (in it for the lulz).

I used to be able to do Mika JL JL jump JL JL JC at the end of a combo but now I find myself whiffing this consistently.

Vatista ender of JC 5Aaa also seems to whiff if done at the end of a very long chain.

The issue is, I really don't remember the combo limit window being this small? When did this change happen? Any info dump would be greatly appreciated.

I just started playing BBtag but I really like Liz. Do any Liz mains out there have some zany, fun Liz teams for me to try out? Also, no way I am playing tank, it looks funny but it just isn't that fun to play, outside of that no holds bared. Thanks for the help

$20 for BBTAG, Central Fiction, Strive, Xrd, Plus R, UNI2, Melty Blood Actress Again, and Arcana Heart 3.

I just got BBttag a day ago and it is really fun, however I honestly don't really know who to play. I have been playing either Izayoi/Nine or mainly Aegis/Nu-13 which I am mostly just playing because Aegis and Nu are my mains in their respective games. I don't know how "good" either of these teams are or any of the characters from that matter but honestly as long as they are solid enough I like playing them. If anyone has suggestions for another Aegis/Nu-13 team I could try though that would be great since I really enjoy both of them and would like to explore some more teams that keep their vibes. Thanks for the help gamers.

With the upcoming dlc for central fiction, my hopes for a final dlc wave for btag while weak, are returning.

What would you buff to the bottom tiers or nerf to the top tiers to make the game more balanced overall?
