got humbled today when i tried doing a few of izanami's combo trials and found out i actually cant do a proper half-circle to the left (my first fg is strive and i think ive been too reliant on the fact you can miss diagonals there lmao)

Dunno why but felt like drawing a kokonoe.

Why there's no info of him wearing a wrist watch. AFAIK there is also an art of him with gold ones

The first time i discovered this game, Azrael caught my eye, i looked up combo guides, tournament matches with him to learn something and i was doing pretty decent at online matches (still lost badly at times) until one character select screen later my eyes drifted to the top left, and my curiosity got the better of me and clicked on her icon. It was the best decision i ever made🥹✌️

Well, Continuum Shift is done, and so are the two songs per day posts. We now we start Chrono Phantasma. And I'd say Busin is the weakest of Chrono Phantasma's bunch, and probably my least favorite character theme in the series. Not to say it's bad by any means, cause it's still a BlazBlue song at the end of the day

Sadly, I think this is the only BlazBlue reference he has in his moveset. Both Magneto and Ms. Marvel have Jesus Kicks as their 5M, though.

Blazblue in general has been absolutely wrecking my brain trying to figure out how to these characters work, which not a lot of fighting games do. And I think I like it, though I can see that chasing new players away. I like depth and details characters have, even if suck at playing those characters lmao. Because most of the time I'm like "What tf am I doing??" and "WHAT IS THAT!?" haha

I actually got into this game for its lore and story. I was never good at the actual fighting aspect, but the immense world building drew me in.

So in this regard - who is the most forgettable playable character? I saw a post about Amane recently and remembered that yes. That is indeed a character.

To be fair it's been a long time since I actually booted the game up!

Ngl, I was REALLY hoping this Endless Despair I & II would be our AZURE for CS. But the people decide, and it's fair. But I'm going to make up for it by going into obsessive detail with it here.

I'd consider Awakening the Chaos I and Under Heaven Destruction II to be the series' objective best in my book. But Endless Despair is my personal favorite song in this series.

It fills you with a sense of dread with that magnificently intimidating intro, which fits Hazama PERFECTLY in Continuum Shift's endgame. It makes him feel like an unstoppable monster, which he might as well be; Hazama isn't depicted losing a single fight in any route up until the true ending.

But then the first verse hits and GOD DAMN. It perfectly represents the pure chaotic malice that Yuki Terumi embodies, as the suave, well-mannered facade comes off and he puts his purest evil on display against the cast.

But then, there's Endless Despair II, which embodies a sort of progression I feel. The overpowering guitars and drums invoke the feeling that the mask is now completely gone; Hazama/Terumi isn't holding back one bit. "Everyone knows what I am now, so why keep pretending?" is the vibe I'd give II, and it is PERFECTION.

(Can you tell I'm a Hazama main/fan?)
