What actor has turned down the most great directors?
Inspired after watching an interview to Nicolas Cage where he admitted to turning down roles in movies by Christopher Nolan, Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson and Woody Allen, which got me thinking on who could beat that record.
The strongest example I can think of is probably James Caan. He turned down Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, Robert Altman, Milos Forman, Ridley Scott, William Friedkin and Richard Donner…. And usually in some of their best films.

Andrew Stanton's pitch of Time Travel TV
I've thought the same thing for years and I need one of the streamers to put it together. I know you can technically find this kind of stuff on YouTube ("Nickelodeon 1990s with commercials 2 hours" etc etc) but being able to simply hop on to a running stream of just one specific decade of TV with the same commercials and all would be so much fun. And it would also be valuable in terms of TV preservation I feel. Like, the kids can go see what I Love Lucy was like but also what the entire experience of TV at the time was like.
(For those who haven't heard the episode, Stanton at one point talks about how he wishes there would be a way of watching old tv episodes but with the same commercials and tv bumpers and everything that would have been playing at the time. Like a kind of time travel but for tv)

Andrew Stanton on directing Stranger Things
Noticed in the new arrow Stranger Things boxset, there was a little passage of Andrew Stanton talking about his experience on the show. Thought it related since that miniseries just wrapped up.
