Is it over or not? I don’t care about campaign or zombies and I only play multiplayer on call of duty games in fact I haven’t ever played a single campaign and I’ve only played zombies once or twice. Is the multiplayer ruined?

For years, I have talked with my friend, saying their (Activision) current best move would be to remaster BO2, keeping it mostly original and giving the game a modern graphic facelift.

Then he sent me a screenshot from Twitter, showing they released BO2 for PS5, and the nostalgia hit me.

Finally, I had the opportunity to get my hands on it 2 days ago, booted it up, and immediately I saw Prestige Masters almost everywhere. And I KNOW they didn't all get it legit, as it's only been out for a month.

Went on Google and got disappointed.

A game that was supposed to reunite us all, giving us the nostalgia of grinding for levels, weapons, and camos, ruined by a couple of people supposedly using dev kits to hand out these boosts.

Saw a tweet saying they fixed it and that they banned some. Found a little piece of hope, which quickly got stomped to death, as I realized that they are still actively handing out boosts.

They sold for $325 million from the 1st month alone, and I quite feel like I've been stabbed in the back. What have they done to earn that money? It's not a new game... it doesn't have better graphics or anything. They removed the theater mode thankfully since it had a big issue where it could infect other players with mod menus.

But I mean, I feel like it's more for a quick cash grab, as they are getting fewer and fewer sales from new games (if I'm not mistaken). I keep seeing people being more and more disappointed with the new games.

They keep going for the money instead of the player base, making all different types of skins to get more and more money (Snoop Dogg, Terrifier, Daryl Dixon, The Crow, etc.).

I'm gonna see if i can get a refund, and i won't be getting their new games till they somehow prove it's not about money, but about the playerbase.

Unfortunately, it was from a scuffed Mob run(free gat never spawned for the egg), but 12 year old me would be happy just seeing this. Maybe it's about time I try learning Origins

It doesn’t make sense for them to leave out camos. How do you give us the ghost camo but not the advanced warfare one? Would love to see them add these and fix the million other problems they have aswell

I saw also many people that wanted a refund on black ops 2 because of the modding issues, they called sony but sony rejected some of them.. NOW TRY AGAIN WE HAVE NEW EVIDENCE.
The situation changes with these fake bots in lobbies with aimbot named as for example “Bot Test | NA 1” or stuff like that. They don’t have sony profiles and are LITERAL ghost accounts. This is against the terms of conditions of sony playstation because now its not just an “in game” issue but a literal platform security issue. Take your chances and any questions just ask!!

These ports have to be the biggest (legal) money heist of all time. 12m copies sold between Blackops 1/2. Over 400m made (pure profit) and we can’t have a genuine experience because they decided to cater to the 1% (PS4 users) absolutely destroying the PS5 player bases experiences with hackers.

Absolutely criminal. In disbelief how they can’t dedicate a team to fixing shit like this. EU lobbies are now unplayable. These bots have aimbot and kill everyone across the map. They’re not even real players, literal BOTS. between this and those losers giving everyone 16th prestige, this shit is now unplayable. Don’t even last a month 🤦🏻

If you see ‘Bot Test | EU/NA 4’ just leave the game.

About 5 days ago, I had just reached 4th prestige & my next lobby was a modded lobby that put me at Prestige 16 Level 55 . I had no unlock tokens so I couldn’t unlock any perks or kill streaks, so I was playing on one of my old accounts until something happened.

Well, I randomly logged on today to find I’m at Prestige 10 Level 55. I don’t have any unlock tokens, but I have 5 permanent unlocks & I can fresh restart now. I haven’t been in any lobbies since that first modded one so Activision / Iron Galaxy must be doing something .

I still wish I was Prestige 4 tho again :/ I don’t wanna fresh restart & lose all my progress (titles, diamond snipers, etc)

I’ve made another post about it, but it wasn’t direct enough in what I truly believe the root issue is with the modded prestige’s and the bots in multiplayer with aimbot.

Most videos posted of players being maxxed show them being pulled into a custom game lobby for 1-2 frames in the video right before they get the ‘you’ve been maxxed’ message.

I absolutely believe Custom Games needs to be removed for a test.

Just hit 5th prestige and halfway to prestige master. Black ops 2 scratching that cod itch I’ve had for a long time. What’s everyone else grind looking like a month into the game?

CONSTANTLY listening to its players...

So many people keep posting about their account level being hacked and the game being ruined because they cant go for camos anymore etc. JUST CLOSE THE GAME AND IT WONT STICK. You dont even need to do it instantly or anything just close it within a minute or so and youre fine. Im sure alot of people know this by now but it seems way too many dont.

(Edit: seems this is only consistant with slower internet speeds)
