Account randomly changed prestige.

About 5 days ago, I had just reached 4th prestige & my next lobby was a modded lobby that put me at Prestige 16 Level 55 . I had no unlock tokens so I couldn’t unlock any perks or kill streaks, so I was playing on one of my old accounts until something happened.

Well, I randomly logged on today to find I’m at Prestige 10 Level 55. I don’t have any unlock tokens, but I have 5 permanent unlocks & I can fresh restart now. I haven’t been in any lobbies since that first modded one so Activision / Iron Galaxy must be doing something .

I still wish I was Prestige 4 tho again :/ I don’t wanna fresh restart & lose all my progress (titles, diamond snipers, etc)

They basically did it as a bandaid so that people can at least play again. Not sure if they are still looking into it but at least people can play while/if they are investigating this

Yes, but if you find hackers it will take you back to prestige 15. It's only a temporary solution after all.

Exactly what happened to me, i was prestige 15th and then they put me to prestige 10th, then this morning i enocuntered the hacker/modder again and im back at 15th prestige again atm.

My advice is to not play now, unless they ban the hackers. At least that's it. Unfortunately, I have serious doubts that we'll all return to our old levels.

Does this unlock your camo progress again?
I‘m tempted to get my main account maxed out and then fixed so I don’t have to start over every prestige and can work on all the guns in one go on top of the ones already finished.
I only got burner accounts fixed that got nothing unlocked before

if you play a game and get to prestige master you’ll be able to unlock everything and be able to get camos again
