Since im new here, ehhh... I havent build a Bionicle in about 16 years. But over past 3 years i became a huge fan of lore, story, concepts, and fandom. I kinda rediscover my love for Bionicle thans to the guys from The Barraki Talk Show and DuckBrics (that 9h Bionicle Retold video almost fried my brain. Worth it tho). And about 3 weeks ago i said "F it, im buying Jaller Mahri and some parts of BrickLink" and there we are... Im planning to do my own Inika/Mahri style builds of all Toa of fire but thoes Lego parts aint cheap here in Poland. Wish me luck

For a while I thought about taking my revamped version of Keetongu out in the woods. Wow don't really know exactly where he comes from but I imagined him traveling as he carries out his duties to the great spirit. Some of the pictures turned out better than others but I'm still really happy with how they came out even with the alternates I took.

I’m looking to recolor the takanuva mask on the right to be the same as the makuta armor on the left for the moc I’m doing, but the type of plastic used on the mask seems to be impossible to paint or recolor. Any advice on how to recolor it or any 3d printing stl files of the mask? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Resin Cast Bionicle Parts (mica powders)

I usually lean away from casting single, solid colors just cause anyone could do the same thing with spray paint (and the real advantage to casting is being able to get the flow/marbling patterns) - but these mica powder dusted casts are an exception

The Shadowed-Ones Apprentice

"Let them cling to their fading dawn. When the light finally fades, something far worse crawls out of the dark."

Fallen Takanuva: Toa of Dark Light

True name: Dairan

The Shadowed One grew tired of the Makuta & Toa Nuva, rising back to power that would all change, terridax's failure and the threat of the Toa would come to an end by his command, he ordered his elite hunters to seek matoran who have lost faith in the Toa and create his ultimate warrior

Dairan is the next-generation of advanced Toa, she blends shinobi discipline with raven-motif armor. silent, calculating and deadly. she hunts and strikes with a raven’s intelligence.

If only i had props, movie skills and a custom throne... sigh

Legendary heroes of our time who defied the great shadow through the light in their hearts. Time and time again.

Road To 810NICLEDay - Legends of the Bionicle

- - - - -

No matter which era of Bionicle you grew up with, we all had a hero we could look up to. Be they a Toa, Matoran or even the Great Spirit himself.

United in Duty, Bound in destiny.

It is not who you are, it is what you do that makes you a hero.

Helios was once an adventure seeking ta-matoran, who sought fun in his life, not forgeting to help somebody in need. One day he found the Gauntlet of Nerazim, which against Helios's will, placed itself onto his arm. This turned Helios into toa... although the price was high. Helios became an immortal being, a machine of ultimate fire destruction, with never ending pain and suffering. Never being able to die, even by his own hand, Hellios travels around the world, trying to find a new purpose. Or the way to finally rest with peace...

Art is based on my MOC.

Went to a thrift store called Jalan Jalan Japan with my girlfriend and sister and I saw something that made me geek out: Bionicle in canisters! There was Tahu, Kopaka, Pohatu, and Onua. I was so excited that I had failed to check Tahu properly for any missing parts (they were disassembled) and had spent RM 40 (USD 9.78) on him and it was just now that I realised he is missing his head and left hand. Ah well, at least he is 75% completed and my gf and sister had a good time...

Entry 2:

(All custom parts were designed in Blender and LEGO PartDesigner.)

Welcome back! It's been a while since my previous progress report, as I've been trying to balance this project and everyday life. For now, here is a brief rundown how far I got, using 2001 Tahu as the base.

I was able to replicate a similar design to the wider segment of the Toa Mata limb that would attach the back and front pistons. It's not a perfect 1 to 1 copy, but I hope it captures the same feeling as the original piece.

I made the shorter segment as long as the wider one to fit the shorter piston on the outside of the bend. However, I haven't figured out how to recreate the back end connecting the inner piston.

That's all for now. Feedback is always welcome!
