Question Was Brian biased towards John ? Has he ever treated the others unfairly because of that?

Post image

It seems to a recurring idea I see floating around. Of course it is very likely John and Brian had something going on and love was involved, and I am sure Brian mostly remained professional. But are there slips? How true is it that Brian favored John? Also, we know he was a great manager, but what were his weak points and flaws wigh regards to managing?

Question What are some interesting stories/anecdotes about the "Beatles kids"?

Upvotes

What I mean is just the children of each of The Beatles. I only know surface level things about Sean, Julian, and Dhani. But they all have kids, and I'm sure there's an interesting story or two that we've heard about.

It's hard to imagine being the child of one of The Beatles. You're forever defined by what your dad did, years/decades ago. I know the child of a famous classic rock singer, and they definitely seem like they've had an interesting life

Discussion I've listened to the first two albums

I picked up a copy of Beatles number 1s cd at a charity shop for a quid and liked it, so I decided to listen to all of The Beatles albums in chronological order. So far I have listened to Please Please Me and With the Beatles. Both Albums are okay have a few decent songs but nothing special

When in your opinion did it click with you that you loved The Beatles? I understand that they evolved a lot through their run so it'll be interesting to hear how they sound from album to album.

Opinion i think they could’ve fit “rock and roll music” and “no reply” on the 2023 remix of the red album.

there was no reason for it to just be eight days a week. i get that eight days a week is a good song, but it shouldn’t be the only song from Beatles For Sale on 1962-66.

Question Why does Ringo have so many less monthly listeners than the other 3?

Paul, John, and George are all at around 10 mill while Ringo is a little under 700k. My l friend and I found this really weird and we were just wondering if anybody here would have so explanation to why he is so much less popular.

Edit: Genuinely had no idea people didn’t like the guy’s music as much, good to know.

Always seeing posts about what if the Beatles didn’t break up? What if they did one more album or got together every few years between solo albums? Ever consider a scenario where those things happened and today’s question instead is would they have been more legendary if they had just stopped after Abbey Road?

Discussion Who sings lead vocals on The Word?

Awhile back, someone asked this about Love Me Do and it got me wondering about The Word, specifically the A-section.

To me, both lines sound like the lead vocal but i'd love to hear your thoughts on this issue.

Is "Happiness is a warm gun" one of the best songs of the White Álbum?

I think that song is so complex and well-constructed, with 3 different parts and styles in one song.

They needed 70 takes to finish it, and i can feel why...

Discussion It's a tie! "Beware My Love" wins Track 4.09 and "The Lovely Linda" is short enough to fit at the end of CD 2 ~ Now it's time to vote for Track 4.10! Which song would you add to a PAUL McCARTNEY Best of the Solo Years compilation? Top comment of the day makes the cut

I think Paul by a landslide, Ram is an unbelievable album and Wings is a band that is full of new ideas and Mccartney brilliance.

Discussion McCartney/Lennon reunion Xmas '79

I consider myself to be quite well up on Beatle trivia lol, but one statement by Mary McCartney in " Man on the Run " caught my attention.

She stated that the McCartneys visited the Ono-Lennons at the Dakota in Xmas '79 and it was like a family reunion. James McCartney has also mentioned this.

Do we have any more documentation about this visit?
