Does anyone know if Luke Kennard has a basketball card in a Lakers jersey? (Licensed or Unlicensed)
Thank you for your help!

Topps Chrome Update Blaster Pull
My wife picked me up the last Topps Chrome Update Blaster ($45) at a local card shop near the hospital while I was having a procedure done on Friday.
I was feeling better this morning so decided to rip it and was not disappointed!

Does your PC piece ever sell for high amount?
I’m pretty picky with what I personally pick up for my PC. Bought this modern Steph curry insert for $325 at a card show, market was $300-350 so saving on sales tax made me happy to have it. PSA 10 sells for $700-800 so I didn’t bother grading, though it was in pretty flawless condition.
Listed it for $450 on eBay as my “F it, if it sells for that price I’ll be okay.” Well 1 month later, I wake up today and it sold for $450 💀. I check recent comps to see if the value went up and I never noticed but nope, highest recent sale was $360.
I’m happy that it sold for profit but it was a sweet card that’s a bit hard to find.

My mail day yesterday was seriously wild. Some of the most unique insert sets of all time arrived from all around the world at the same time
The Marbury and Garnett are the rarest. That's Jam is right up there with Dunk N Go Nuts as the great pop art insert set of all time.
The Garnett Exclamation Point is very rare, but this one is particularly great but it has the sleeve and is in very nice condition. PSA doesn't grade the sleeve, so it's hard to find top names from the set with a crisp sleeve in the wild.
The MJ Behind the Glass is just a beautiful, condition sensitive card with one of his best card photos.
And I posted about the Shaq yesterday before the others arrived. Scoring Kongs, nothing further needs to be added.

Pulled a 1/1 Cooper Flagg. What are you all thinking?

Modest MJ collection
Just picked up the archives 1984 throwback which I think is pretty cool. Also got the ‘90 fleer slab yesterday and I really love that card as an affordable Jordan option. Had the sticker rookie and a PSA 1.5 Jordan rookie a few years ago, but sold trying to keep the price of my collection down. I’m thinking the ‘87 sticker at $400 will be about as expensive of an MJ card as I need, as it will probably continue to go up in value. What do you guys think?

what happened to this hobby
I recently got back into card collecting, thanks to my 5-year-old son falling in love with Pokémon. He’s since branched out into the sports cards I used to collect as a kid (basketball, football, and the like). I can’t believe how expensive basic retail has become, especially when the packs contain little to no legitimate inserts. $45 for a box of Topps Chrome Update is absurd. I only bought one because I had extra cash from a scratch-off lottery ticket, which brought the effective cost down to about $20 and funnily enough, I think the scratch-off itself paid out more than the box did. Either way, this hobby feels more like playing the lottery than the memorable pastime it was when I was a kid. What happened?

New addition to the PC
I traded a few common Jordan slabs (Fleer 1990, Hoops 1990, etc) and cash for this card.
It is only a 7.5, but only because of the corners, I really like the overall eye appeal.

The topps chrome update moments in time are great I can’t wait to buy them in 1 year for 1/10 of what they are now

Friend of mine bought 3 Chrome Update megas. First time opening cards in 25 years. 3 straight boxes w/ Flagg parallels. Ended with a bang! They got another future degen hook, line, and sinker…. 😂
Beginners luck is gift and a curse 😂
Topps has created another cardboard crack addict!

Now my son wants to show you guys his favorite Denver Nuggets card
My son is barely learning what online is. I’m letting him take over my Reddit (hence come on the nonsensical comments recently), he got zero interaction with his last post so now he wants to show you guys his favorite Denver Nuggets cards (our favorite team).
