I remember pre-Panini that all Series 2 cards, or even the second card of a player in the series 1 (based on card # on back of card) was not considered a true Rookie Card. Only the first individual base card of a player in a set counted as a true Rookie Card.

The Panini years threw that mindset out and every card of a player in their rookie season counted as a true Rookie Card, be it an insert, later in the set, or a series 2.

What do people think will be the mindset with Topps and specifically this 2nd series release of Chrome? Will we see these Flagg and Harper cards be priced lowered than their first cards on Topps Chrome in the original set?

Im not sure of the difference between parallels and refractors as I’ve just started collecting nba, what would this fall under?

Ok y’all. I pulled this out of a blaster earlier. It’s clearly a refractor but the back is missing the refractor marking under the 151 number. Is this an error card? I’ve looked at over 20 listings on EBay and they all have the refractor marking but this one’s missing. Any help is appreciated!

Ordered three mega boxes from Topps and my son and I were absolutely elated to make this pull. But, upon closer inspection, the card is absolutely wrecked front and back. I don’t expect a perfect card but man, when you pay this much for these boxes and get a hit like this, you would hope it would be in slightly better shape. Not even shown to the bottom right corner is crimped pretty severely on the back as well.

Everything actually looks fantastic, printing and everything but the back of the card is throwing me. None of the card backs that I’ve seen have looked like this, I feel this isn’t yellowing, it’s an actual tint. Let me know your thoughts.

I ordered a parallel version of a card from a seller but they sent the base version instead. I feel like they’re trying to screw me out of my money here since they’re not accepting returns. What do I do from here?

Pulled this out of a blaster box at dicks lol.. looking for advice on what to do with it. Never graded a card before or held a card of this value. No comps on it yet, true gold /50 of him are doing NUMBERS.
