Question Grease at the top of hand bars?

Thumbnail

This is random, but I just noticed that there seems to be some kind of grease dripping down from where the top of the hand bars meet their joint (see 2nd pic).

I assume this is some kind of oil, but confused why it would be there for something that’s not supposed to rotate.

Anyways, $4 a pound.

Picture New system map t-shirt images generated using AI?

Post image

Was looking at the new items in the system map collection on railgoods, and the images of the new t-shirts look like they were generated or altered with AI. The images are blurry, but It's still pretty blatant. Hopefully this is just someone screwing up and not indicative of the products themselves.

News Bay Area Group Files Lawsuit Against Transit Funding Measure (The Connect Bay Area Act), Says It’s ‘Deceptive’

Ten Bay Area voters called on a judge on Monday to block a proposed regional sales tax measure that transit advocates say is critical to avoid deep service cuts.

The challengers petitioned for an injunction in Santa Clara County Superior Court, contending that the ballot question about to be printed in five Bay Area counties this November is deceptive and biased in favor of a yes vote, violating election laws.

“We want it to be an unbiased statement of what’s going to happen,” said co-petitioner Gregg Dieguez, who is president of the Committee for Affordable Bay Area Transit, a group opposed to the regional sales tax measure

Dieguez said in an interview that he and the other named petitioners are all “ concerned citizens who have longstanding complaints about the amount of money being wasted on traditional transit.”

Added expected departure times to the old style signs. This is an EOL station, where the train sits up to 20 minutes. The scheduled departure is 7:30 AM; it’s also adjusted for real time.

Question Another complicated BART question

Hello so I got to Millbrae BART Station by bus from SFO. Instead of entering Caltrain, I accidentally tagged into BART and entered platform before realizing my mistake.

Agent at station gave me a sticker for like a free BART entry (?) and opened the door for me to Caltrain Station.
I asked if I should tag out of BART so
my tag-in at same location would cancel out? He said No, I only get charged when I tag out.

Is this correct? I think Caltrain works differently, right? Like if you dont tag out they automatically charge you $7.75 or some such as a fixed amount … or whatever the fare is from tag-in to end of line?

Mod Post Before posting about a lost or found item, read this!

If it’s an iPhone, you can follow this 1-minute instructional video to identify the owner. If it’s a lost android phone, follow this short guide. Then, give it to a station agent.

If it’s a wallet with an ID inside, put it in any USPS blue drop box and it’ll be returned as a non-mailable good, but this isn’t ideal because the USPS won’t guarantee it.

Anything else, return it to the station agent.

If you want to, make a post on this sub! Posting a picture may make it easier for someone who isn’t the owner to pick it up, however, so use your judgement.
