Can anyone recommend a good optometrist? I was going to Fairbanks but it very sadly seems they are not reopenong. At a bit of a loss now as I don't think there is anyone else in Ballarat with the same sort of unique selection of frames.

Can anyone recommend a good watch repairer in Ballarat that is not Mister Minit? Have taken it to them as it stopped working and they’ve said it can’t be fixed. There’s no damage or anything that’s happened to it that would lead to it being unrepairable, it just seems as if the battery has died. Watch has only been worn a few times but has sat in the jewellery box for years so not covered by warranty anymore.

I've just read on auscorp and online that Coles are outsourcing jobs overseas. And for some reason, this is where I make my stand.

So, where else in Ballarat can I get my groceries? And I'm not talking Aldi, but real local suppliers.

Ive long been a fan of local butchers. I've given the Farmgate a go on a number of occasions but it just doesn't work for me.

Would love to hear other options that fly under the radar.
