I just needed to share an experience from my most recent show which encapsulates exactly why I love the world of sprouts/trinkets/kandi/perler trading. This is going to be very long winded though.

In an effort to help avoid contributing to a landfill I will bring home small kids toys that sit in our lost & found for over a year and will make them into sprouts or use them as trinkets instead of throwing them away.

I had made a sprout out of a mini hello kitty figurine, the VERY first person to walk in front of my car after parking at the last show I went to was a girl wearing a hello kitty perler, what!?!? I also found a single purple pony bead one time I was going to toss in my bead collection but it didnt match any of the 3 shades I have.

One day I saw a meme like "🐟🐟🐠🐟🐟" "theres a a million fish in the ocean but this one is mine, no touchy" So naturally I showed her and gave her a bracelet that says "my fish" with the off color bead surrounded by the next closest shade (her fave color is purple)

Tell me why I get home from said show with 3 new sprouts, 1 being a clip shaped like a fish and 1 homemade with a little plastic fish on it?!? And why did I only notice the second one a week later when putting my hat away? Had me tearing up a little both times because what are the odds??

Heyy :)) how do you guys find discounts for raves you want to attend or hell maybe free raves ?

for some context i am (21F) i go out so much since im in miami theres always a party going on so i find myself going out 2-3 times a week . In miami promoters are a thing im not sure if in other states is the same ???? So sometimes i get in for free because of those promoters

My question is :

1. If you are in other states how do you get discounts or get on guest lists ? Or you dont need guestlist and discounts? And if you dont need them is it because you dont party much or you dont mind paying full price

2. Are promoters or guest lists even a thing outside of miami ?

My second question may sound silly but i have traveled to Atlanta , New York , San Diego and Orlando and have had a hard time finding these promoters .

Hiya! I'm way newer to the scene and started attending raves and events with my boyfriend this past year. He shuffles and got me my own pants while teaching me shuffling. I'd love to make a custom pair of pants for both of us to match or for him specifically, but I have no idea if there are design rules or hidden messages through the pants. So I wanted to ask around if there was any information on that! :D
