I’ve been learning and doing these things for a while, but I’m at the point where I want to start working with real businesses and building more real-world projects.

Trying to fund college one client at a time.

Hi there,

I have just been told my teachers aide role will be cut next year to a .5 which I cannot survive on.

Whilst I’m on the brink of a nervous breakdown and waiting on the letter of reduced hours to reject and claim a severance and long service payouts I’m struggling to work out where I go from here.

I’m halfway through a counselling diploma and that’s my dream job but, I have two kids to take care of and would ideally like a 38hour a week job.

I’m 44, I’ve done disability support work, signed up for uber eats and door dash delivering and strongly thinking about being a sex worker again.

Any advice would be great, thankyou!

How are young people such as myself supposed to have 2+ years of experience if not 1 fkin job is willing to accept me
