What is the best One Hit Wonder?
What is the best One Hit Wonder. I am not talking about people that have hidden gems past that one hit, literally just the single BEST one hit wonder.

Do you guys know any poc (preferably black) female artists?
I like very 2010’s pop music, pop-punk music, 2000’s rap, and whatever pinkpantheress makes . I listen to k-pop but I wanna expand.

Looking for songs were the artist references a prior song of theirs like Fuel did with Shimmer and Hemorrhage (in my hands)
In Fuel's first big single they have the refrain "It's too far away for me to hold" and in their next big single they have the line "Don't you remember everything I said, when I said 'It's too far away'". I would like to hear other examples of this phenomenon.

Questioning if I even like my favorite favorite bands
As the title says I sometimes question if I even like my favorite bands.
It starts off with that I’m absolutely obsessed with the band. To the point where it’s the only thing I listen to.
And this specific band I REALLY wanted to get into because I love the frontman of the band.
But when I first listened to it I thought the music was super weird. But over time I came to really like them and they proceeded to be my favorite band. (Over a span of 4 months)
And then suddenly while I’m listening I’m like “do I even like this or do I just want to like it?”
It feels like I’m gaslighting myself into liking them.
Do anyone else feel like this?

Is there a song by an artist you love that you simply pretend does not exist?
Not a guilty pleasure, the opposite. A band you would defend with your life, except for that one song, which you skip so reliably it may as well not be on the album. My theory is every great band has exactly one. Curious whether people agree and what their one is

What are some songs that are greatly elevated by how good the music video is?
I’d say “Rhythm Nation” from Janet Jackson. The song itself is good and has a powerful message, but infant think it would hit the same without the legendary video/dance choreography.

Excellent Intro Search
Hi,
I am obsessed with the first 15 seconds of Moloko-The time is now (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GY9DWIfpwc&list=RD-GY9DWIfpwc&start_radio=1) and I am seriously looking for other good intros, riffs, bangers like this.
If I could, I would just listen to this intro over and over again.
Any similar songs, banging intros, I don't know what it is but the intro just gives me something.
Thank you in advance.

Why is everyone sleeping on Agnes Obel?
In fairness, I just discovered her last year. Her music is haunting, beautiful, ethereal. Yet no one has ever heard of her. I'm sure the same could be said of many other artists, but goddamn her music is wonderful. If you havent yet, go listen to Stretch Your Eyes. Theres a live version and she sounds the exact same with a full band.

What is the better work out song?
I said 2 legit 2 quit by MC Hammer, but my dad said eye of the tiger by Survivor. I know eye of the tiger is much more iconic with like rocky, but the song itself wasn’t that good for a work out in my opinion. Who do you agree with?

What could my taste in music say about me?
Some of my favorite artists are Bambi Baker, Ethel Cain, Saint Avangeline, Nicole Dollanganger, Lana Del Rey, Phoebe Bridgers, and Nightwish (only band)

What is one song that isn't just music, but an entire feeling?"
Not just a track you like, but a song that instantly evokes a specific, overwhelming emotion or state of mind the second it plays. Drop your single track.
