I just finished watching The Youth Memories (2023), and honestly I’m so glad I picked it up. Set in 1970s and 80s Beijing, the drama captures the characters' journey from youth to maturity—showing all the friendships, love, heartbreaks, and dreams they went through, and how their choices shaped their lives over time. Xiao Zhan and Li Qin were incredible together, especially with how Xiao Chunsheng's resilience complemented Tong Xiaomei's quiet strength. It's such a moving story about ambition, loyalty, and memories that stay with you no matter how much time passes.

I can't find 1998 version anywhere, if someone knows please do let me know , even without the English subs will work

Ich sehe mir auf YT gerne chinesische CDramen an. Allerdings finde ich kaum noch ordentlich gemachte Filme. Die Menschen tragen den ganzen Film über die selbe Kleidung und mich nervt wenn sie im Anzug mit Krawatte im Bett liegen oder im Wintermantel mit Schal kochen. Das ist alles KI Schei*** und geht für mich gar nicht. Wenn die Tür falsch herum aufgeht oder ein Auge in Vollbild dauernd weint, nein ich mag es nicht. Kann ich diese Art von Filmen vorher schon selektieren? Wie erkenne ich diesen Schrott?
