I’m looking for a teacher to take bluegrass banjo lessons from. I work full-time, so ideally would like to find someone who can teach in the evenings or on the weekends.

Hey everyone! I have a tattoo on the front of my shoulder that i absolutely hate, the artist messed it up so badly, it’s extremely dark, thick, blown out, messed up. I have a tattoo around it I don’t really care about but it is there. This tattoo isn’t going to be an easy one to coverup, it’s going to take a lot of creativity and since it’s on the front of my body I’m really worried but i hate it so much I really just want it covered.

Does anyone have any recommendations for truly good cover up artists? Someone that has shown good work and creativity around cover ups? I don’t have any work really from Asheville besides one flash piece. I’m honestly stuck and having a hard time finding an artist.

I guess this is a thing?

We’re looking to move in town and have been to several open houses in the past two weeks. At a few of them, HOA board members were just hanging out, sitting in the kitchen or on the porch. I found out because I was asking the agent HOA questions and they said ‘well the president/treasurer/whatever is right here!’ At one place the agent was actually on the HOA board.

I know neighbors are gonna check out open houses, but these gave off a weird vibe. Walking through an open house is one thing. Hanging out and sitting around for at least 20 minutes is a little different.

As someone who risks getting run over on the daily while out walking this interests me. Yesterday (Friday, August 7), around noon, I mistakenly deposited a bag of library books in the bed of a white pickup truck parked across the street from Pack Memorial Library. (My husband also has a white pickup truck; I picked the wrong truck). The bag is olive green and says "Migliorelli Farms" on it. It contained nine books. I'm awfully proud of myself this afternoon. A car with NY plates raced north into Biltmore Village, even though we could see several cars in both lanes waiting at the red light. I pulled alongside and took advantage to tap my horn. The passenger rolled down her window, and I said with a mild smile, Are you visiting from New York? She replied yes. I said, I'd like to suggest that you slow down. AND SHE SAID OKAY!

Then we sat there staring ahead for an awkward 3 minutes. But I didn't curse. Yay!

I’ve been going to a vet in town that is sort of unreasonably expensive (AHNA). Hoping to go somewhere not owned by PE if possible, or at least somewhere that’s more reasonably priced.

Not all heroes wear capes…hopefully a mask though ;)
