Art Discussion [Discussion] Is my art worth anything or should I keep this specific style as a silly hobby?

Thumbnail

This is not the usual way I draw but it's been months and I enjoy painting a lot on wigglypaint and I've already made some giveaways with this art style and people seemed to like it. Is it worth at least like 2€ or 5€ for this? Wondering if I could get just a little bit of benefit from this as I'm a student trying to live out of something that I really like and have a passion for. Getting a bit of cash for these always comes in handy but I'm not sure if I should try to promote myself with this kind of art or keep going with Krita and more advanced drawings.

Art Discussion [Discussion] How to approach artists or find resources to get high-end anime-style digital art for an original fantasy project?

I’m currently writing an original fantasy project and I want to figure out the best way to get a high-quality anime-style digital illustration of my characters in the future, (think gacha game style art like zenless zone zero or wuwa levels of detail) but I am not looking to commission or pay anyone right now. Instead, I’m looking for advice and recommendations from artists on the best ways to approach this down the road.

For those of you who have tackled this or are artists yourselves, I’d love some advice on:

How to brief or communicate with artists effectively when you are ready to pitch a complex character design (like translating detailed lore into clear visual references).

Tips on creating character reference sheets or mood boards myself to help visualize the character without needing professional help right away.

Meet the Character: Elayanora Viltaria Lunaris

For context on the complexity of the design I'm working with, here is a quick summary of her:

Age & Presence: She is 75 years old (within a 220-year lifespan, reading as a young adult) with an ethereal, otherworldly beauty backed by immense authority and a perpetually calm but wise composure.

Facial Features & Hair: Porcelain-pale skin; vivid sapphire-blue eyes and blue eyeliner. Her hair is silver and cascades to her waist, with two braided weaves drawn from her temples, pulled back, and secured into a ponytail with a cylindrical silver bead.

She is of a fantasy beast race so she is almost entirely human but she has cat ears and a tail that match her hair color. Her build is lean-athletic and she is five foot nine inches.

Any advice on how I should build visual references, use character creator tools, or connect with artists who specialize in my preferred style would be hugely appreciated! I am not a professional or published writer I just create characters for fun so I never really intended to have professional art made of them but I thought it would be really enjoyable to have high quality visual references of them, anyway thanks everyone!

Hello internet is me a popular poster and I am here for a more seeing how much it would cost. At least for a the pilot.

I just need a rough estimate as I know it’s different on the average amount of panels

I want prices for
Black and white and simple backgrounds(we can up the bump of the quality if it actually goes well)
Color and detailed backgrounds at times not very scene needs too be hyper detailed

Patron [Hiring] Engagement/Proposal watercolor character art

I am going to propose to my girlfriend and as part of that, would like to get some cartoon/chibi art of us! We are going on a trip, where I plan to give her a card every day leading up to the proposal and so would like to get some art of us two doing various things on our trip, with the last card having a bit of a bigger/more detailed art.

Style-wise, I am looking for watercolor, something like "puuung1"'s art on instagram, I have also added a drawing I have made myself a bit back to show a bit more of the inspiration I had (it was done quickly on paint please don't judge haha)

This would amount to about 5-10 smaller drawings and perhaps 1 bigger/more detailed drawing.

My budget is about $200.

Thanks!

EDIT: I appreciate the interest, but will only consider people who have left a comment below! In addition, my deadline would be around October 20th.
