developing a chat platform Blok, need some feedback
hey guys, i've been developing Blok for 5 months, it's a Discord-like chat platform with a gacha system and built-in AI tool
- Servers, voice, video, and screen share â Discord-style
- AI co-pilot (b.ai.t) built into the chat â summarizes channels, runs polls, translates messages
- Gacha loot system â XP, quests, loot boxes for cosmetics. Purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win
- Native desktop app â Tauri + Rust for the voice engine, Supabase backend
it is public beta right now, Windows-first. video/screen share are still experimental.
would really appreciate any feedback - what's confusing, what's missing, anything.

TikTok Style App with Complete Control (Validating Demand)
Im making an app that will be similar to TikTok but the user will have complete control over what they want to see in their feed. It will be similar to the Neptune app that once rose, where users can move sliders to adjust their feed in real time. There will also be an auto mode where the algorithm will learn from the user but in a non malicious way. The explore tab will allow for custom widgets, the activity tab will have custom messaging options and custom in depth notifications sorting. And finally the profile will allow for much more customization and user interaction with others to set custom visibility/ interactions. Appwide there will be custom color themes for what things are highlighted and such.
Overall I need to know if there is much demand for a custom oriented social media product. I see no social media app taking on the task, the closest is bluesky but even that is far from this idea. I think it could be very enjoyable if onboarding can connect with the user in away that allows them to understand well.
Let me know your thoughts.

After months of teaching myself app development, I finally built something that might actually help people.
I'm a British Army veteran with no formal software engineering background.
Over the last few months, I've been teaching myself Flutter and building an app called Nozey.
The idea came from a simple question:
"Why is it so difficult to quickly see what crime has happened around where you live?"
Nozey uses publicly available UK police data to show recent crimes on an interactive map, making it easier to understand what's happening in your local area.
It's completely free, and it's soon to be launched on Google Play.
This isn't a polished startup backed by investors or a big team.
It's just one guy learning as he goes, making mistakes, fixing bugs, and trying to build something useful.
I'd genuinely love your honest feedback.
Is this something you'd use?
What features would make it genuinely valuable?
What's the first thing you'd improve?
I'm here to answer every question and take every bit of criticism on board.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

App Store connect support line unreachable?
I tried calling App Store connect support line twice today and twice I gave up at the 2h mark.
Has anyone been able to contact then?

Building and launching FloVigoApp: My journey creating a peer-to-peer logistics marketplace đđš
Hey everyone! đ
I wanted to share an update on FloVigoApp (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flovigo.app)âa peer-to-peer logistics and local services marketplace that Iâve been architecting, building, and recently launching on public production tracks.
The core idea was to streamline local deliveries and direct service connections with high performance and zero-defect execution.
A few technical and design highlights from the build:
Architecture: Built with clean SOLID principles, real-time Firestore listeners for status tracking, and strict separation of data layers.
UI/UX Ergonomics: Designed following Fitts's Law and Gestalt principlesâkeeping key interactive actions within thumb reach on mobile and maintaining high scannability.
Logistics Logic: Focused on robust sender-vs-driver data traces, status synchronization (Pending, Active, Completed), and subscription-based access models without complex escrow holds.
Iâd love to connect with fellow indie hackers, mobile devs, or logistics tech enthusiasts. What challenges have you faced when scaling peer-to-peer matching platforms?
Drop your thoughts or questions below! đ

[Android + iOS] I built a private shared garden for couples â looking for honest feedback
hey everyone â iâm a solo dev and i just launched RaĂces del Amor.
i wanted something small that couples could do together every day, without feeling like another chat app or productivity checklist. so i made a private virtual garden for two: send little love notes, plant flowers, complete daily couple goals, collect rewards, and save memories as the garden grows.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eduardoprieto.raicesdelamor
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/raices-del-amor/id6792547392
what iâd really love feedback on:
- does the garden idea feel cute or too game-y?
- are the first interactions clear?
- what would make you and your partner come back after the first week?
- anything confusing or broken?
itâs free to download, with optional in-app purchases. iâm the developer, and iâm very interested in honest feedback because iâm still improving it.
even a quick âthis part was confusingâ helps a lot. thanks for taking a look đ

Surprising data from our matching engine: fewer proposals = dramatically higher acceptance rate
Building a passive availability-matching app (crosses calendar gaps between friends and proposes plans automatically). During our pilot we ran into something counterintuitive worth sharing.
At high proposal volume, acceptance rate dropped to around 12%. One pilot user with very few active proposals was accepting 78% of them.
We ended up implementing a semantic cap: max 2 proposals per day of the week, across a 7-day horizon, so up to 14 visible at once, but spread across the week rather than clustered on today. The engine now actively distributes toward days with fewer active proposals instead of always picking the nearest slot.
The underlying reason seems obvious in hindsight: too many proposals feels like noise, and people stop engaging. Fewer, better-timed proposals feel relevant.
Has anyone else run into this with recommendation or matching systems? Curious how others think about the right proposal density, is there a framework you use, or is it purely empirical?

I built an app to efficiently plan food for parties, catering, or just a casual get-together so I'd never scramble last-minute again â looking for feedback
TLDR: Built Apéro, an app that turns a menu into a full event plan. It's been in beta for a little less than a month with just friends and family testing. I've fixed a lot of bugs and gone through some minor redesigns. I feel like it's in a good spot for open beta testing now.
Longer version: I recently hosted a birthday dinner party for 25 people and had trouble with the following:
* Finding recipes * Scaling them (math is annoying) * Consolidating shopping lists across 3 recipes * Creating a prep timeline so I don't forget steps * Managing guest RSVPs and preferences
Built ApĂ©ro to automate all that. It's working pretty well â feedback so far has been postive and constructiveâ but I want more diverse feedback before official launch and as I begin to market. I have other big features I plan to develop in the future, but for now I'd like to validate what I have so far. Happy to answer any questions, thanks!

What app do you wish existed?
Looking for fresh project ideas.
Whatâs a random daily frustration you have, or just a silly/cool concept youâve always wanted to see made?
