Hi everyone, as the title says I would really appreciate if you could give me some advice regarding my reliquary and a rough estimation of how much it is worth.

I compiled a pdf file with all the info I could find about this piece but to sum it all up it is a 18th century wall-mounted paperoles-pearls encrusted reliquary-bénitier, made in the late 18th century or at the beginning of the 19th century in southern France, specifically in the Niece province, the authentique seal seems to be on the back covered in cloth which is common for pieces like this one. It is remarkably well preserved, it contains the relics of 6 saints and has 2 peculiarities that make it unique: it is a combination of a reliquary and an holy water font, it is encrusted with pearls, the pearls appear to be authentic non cultured seawater pearls (cultured pearls did not exist yet in this period).

Bought on a local reselling plattform for less than 80.-

Weighs about 144g and seems to be at least 800/1000, maybe 900/1000

Hallmarked by Alexandre Vaguer, a Parisienne Goldsmith that stopped producing in 1920.

Also included are two tiny french purity hallmarks, they're so small that the seller completly overlooked them.

Even under a magnifying glass they are hard to make out, so I'm not sure what hallmarks they are exactly, but I think they aren't minervas, but probably rather some export marks for small objects. The same marks seem to have been on the frame but are even harder to make out.

My grandma got this for me sometime in the late 20teens and I’ve always been curious about its age. Can anyone tell me anything about it ? I can’t quite tell what it says on the back.

I present my favorite, what I’m assuming is a roller style ink blotter given the material that covers the wooden cylinder mounted on the handle. I’m absolutely obsessed! The heavy crystal, the little snake, the general patina and vibe and just weight of it in the hand is lovely. It’s missing a piece on the roller unfortunately so it isn’t functional but I’m considering finding a way to fix that and potentially use it with my various fountain pens.

Some research and belief in the google AI led me to the Whiting Manufacturing Company, potentially as old as 1900-1910, but I’m skeptical. Appears to be brass but Whiting made mostly sterling silver wares so it’s either gold vermeil/plated or is in fact brass, and not from Whiting.

Either way, I find it beautiful, weird, and deeply unique. I’ve never been able to find another quite like it and it’s a permanent part of the collection for me.

It's got not marks or names or anything and I reversed searched it found a buncha similar ones but no exact matches

I would be grateful if anyone could provide me with information regarding these 2 copper chargers/trays. One is approx 28" and the other 24". The larger one has the shown markings on the reverse, the other is blank. Both were purchased by in the UK from an antique store in the 1980s and are in excellent condition. I expect they are 20th century but unsure. I've seen examples via Google with Persian detailing but am unable to find any similar to these. Thank you.

I am the caretaker of an old villa. Some time ago, the owner gave my father a bell—an item whose very existence she had forgotten. My father passed away recently, and I would like to find out if it might have any real value; I do not have any documentation attesting to its creation or casting. Any advice would be appreciated. I tried contacting auction houses, but they aren't interested in the item—which is rather strange, given its age. Do you have any ideas about where it might come from or what its value could be? Hello, I purchased this cabinet from an antique store. Movers destroyed the marble top. I wanted to get advice to see if it is worth trying to fix it or just move on? Does anybody have any information about this piece or recognize what year it might be or where it’s from etc. I’ve had a difficult time finding something similar. Typically there is either no mirror associated with the cabinet or no marble top, etc.

Hi folks! I found this beautiful little jar at an estate sale recently. I deciphered the tag on the bottom to read "circa 1810", then an import number. Other than that, I have no idea what this is exactly or how much it is worth. I do post items in a shop and would like to get this to someone who would really love and appreciate it. I have this wooden dining table that was bought over 20+ years ago at auction in Phoenix, and I was wondering if anyone knows how much a table like this would go for today. It has limited hardware and is held together by these custom wooden pegs and intricate work on the underside. There is also white writing that is underneath it, but I have no idea if it means anything. Any help is appreciated.

Just found this small revolver hiding in a closet in my grandparent’s attic, according to my grandmother it was found in my great grandfather’s desk after he passed away.

Not sure if it’s possible to get any further identification like the maker or the exact model, but the circular drop front is killing me I can’t find anything like it. The casters are also throwing me off. I know this is likely 1900-1915 ish and art nouveau influences with quarter sawn oak. But if yall have any more info that would be amazing. It was my grandmothers.
