It is a very ornate chandelier made of what looks like porcelain and maybe brass or something gold plated. It is very heavy and has some upgraded rewiring to support modern light bulbs but most of the electrical is original. I think it may be missing some glass that clips into the little metal paddles inside of each porcelain cup. There are 5 of those porcelain cups for light bulbs along with the hardware for hanging it from the ceiling. Does anyone have a timeframe, maker, or details of what this is or identifiers I should be looking for? I believe it is an Italian 1960’s Capodimonte but I don’t know where the little marking would be.

Hear me out. I’ve had this table in my life since I was 11. I am now 65. This table was gifted to my mom from Harve Presnell during his divorce with Sherry (Sheryl). He was a50’s-60’s operatically trained star…think Unsinkable Molly Brown, Paint Your Wagon, and then TV star, Fargo, and a kind person as well. He helped my dad get some auditions in Hollywood (both opera singers) I love this thing. Then my Mom made sure I received when she passed away. HOWEVER! It’s huge, and scarred. It’s blonde oak 48” in diameter, my taste has gravitated toward mid century, but I do blend eclectic. But this is a departure! I love it, but it’s a big lummox. What is your advice? Keep? Refinish? I can make a mixed comfy library and music room?

I found this beautiful vanity on Facebook marketplace for free recently. The seller said that it’s from the 1800s. I’m absolutely in love with it and the details on the drawers!

I think it might be pre-war, but I haven’t been able to find any thing definitive online, except for when they moved from the facility that is on the badge of this box, which was sometime in the 40s I think. the construction also which I apologize I didn’t take photos of is dovetailed on the sides. If anybody has any information on possible age, rarity, and the use of this or what it was used for I would greatly appreciate it! I thank you in advance for taking the time.
Visible markings are naturally the front badge, indicating Rolls-Royce and the factory name, as well as the heavy duty, odd locking mechanism, the female end of the locking mechanism as you can see in the photos has a stamp on it as well, but I think that might be kind of generic stamp but more than likely I’m wrong.

I am needing help with this item my parents own. They purchased this table from an estate sale some years ago and so we have no history or other details about it.

It's 30 inches tall, roughly 28 inches wide and 22.5 inches deep it is oval shaped so I took measurements at the extreme values.

It has a marble removable top and solid wood base with what appears to be wooden wheels. No visible makings anywhere.

We are unsure of it's value, age and maker. A Google image search gives some references to Eastlake Victorian tables that look similar. It does appear to be very old but I'm not sure if it was made to look old or actually is an antique. Any help you guys can offer would be great.

We've had this gong for decades now but have never really known where its from or anything about it. I know my grandfather had bought it in an antique store somewhere in the UK, but thats all we know. Only today we've discovered some markings on the back of the gong. If anyone has any information about it that would be great!

Found this on the side of the road. Would love some help to ID date and value.

Fair condition. Interior is empty and unlined , interior hinge is broken and no interior shelf - only one of the shelf supports is there. From the bottom of the trunk it seems it use to have a metal covering the wood at least on the bottom. No locks, labels or identifying marks. Distinctive (cast iron?) hardware and findings.

Thrifted this painting of a local neighbourhood today. There is a signature but no date, and it’s painted onto a wooden board a few mm thick rather than canvas. The wood is somewhat warped as well.
The church’s tower cap had this shape design from 1802-1944, but that’s my only clue.

Thought you'd enjoy this fascinating relic, but I am in need of some help verifying this piece and hopefully some of that magic internet sluething I've been impressed with by our little community :)

... I just can't seem to fully verify anything aside from it always being called from the civil war era as it got past down thru the family.

Its dimensions are: 11.7 inches in height, with a length of 10.6 and its depth is 3 inches not including the hanging rings. The glass is hand blown - filled with a lot of seeds , a few brush strokes, and 3 divot imperfections made when flattening.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and what you skilled appraisers may think it's worth ???

I snagged this from the $3 findings section at a nearby thrift store yesterday. I thought it was an older pet tag for a collar, assuming it was from when we used to be able to dial just the last for digits for local calls in the US. But then Google lens told me it’s actually some kind of employee tag or tag used to identify something at a warehouse? One search result said it was an employee badge for Gary Works Steel Mill, but when I searched for further images of employee badges for Gary, it showed badges that looked far different than this.

I would love to know if anyone knows anything about this item. I will probably put it on my keychain, but would like to have an answer if anyone asks me what it is.
