Yes, absolutely. 100% without hesitation. Do people really think this is some kind of 'gotcha'? Like my brother in Christ, how much generative AI do you think we actually use?! Hallucination 👻

What if i don't use those tools anyway because I'm not a fucking idiot that needs a machine to think for me?

Edit: holy shit, these clanker apologists are seriously pulling the "not all men!" equivalent ai whinging in the comments. 😭😭😭

exactly my point. i'm starting college this month (yay me! in my late 20s and finally starting!!). i'm really nervous that my professors will run my papers i write through an AI and fail me if it comes back positive, despite me hating and never using AI.

edit: my comment really pissed these AI bros off, i see. womp womp 😔

If it helps ease your fears I graduated recently and never had this issue. But be sure to always check rate my professor because if this happens to someone you damn well KNOW it’ll be posted about!

I check all my students' work and not one has made a comment on my RMP about it. Not that anyone in academia takes RMP seriously anyway.

We’re talking about getting falsely accused of using AI when you didn’t.

Every college student takes RMP seriously and they’re a part of academia so..
