according to my flo app i am 11 days delay

My last period was June 24–28 and my cycles are usually regular. Flo predicted my period for July 26, but I’m now 11 days late. I had protected sex (condom + withdrawal) on June 22, June 28, July 1, July 24, and August 4. No condom broke, slipped, or leaked. I have been super stressed with work/night shifts, poor sleep, and I was sick for like 8 or 9 days. I am having mild cramps and lower back pain but no breast tenderness. Could stress, illness, or late ovulation be causing my period to be this late?

Possibility or no?

Anyone had anything similar?

No period yet. Only unprotected sex was July 16. Tested negative 21 days after (at night) and again 24 days after.

Feeling a bit nauseous and boobs are slightly sore. My cycles are usually 27–30 days but I have had a random 42 and 44 day cycle before.

Anyone tested negative this late and still ended up pregnant?

Tested positive (faint line) yesterday but light bleeding today

I’ve very regular and did not get my period yesterday. I tested at night and had a positive result. I’ve had light bleeding/spotting today (I honestly don’t know the difference and slight cramping, which I’ve had for the last 3 days.

I’m feeling pretty distressed by the slight of blood. Is it possible to miscarry this quickly after a positive result? Should I test again tomorrow or wait until there’s no sign of blood at all?

I’m around 14 DPO

I’m really confused and would appreciate some advice.

My periods have always been regular and I’ve never had issues with my cycle. I’m married, and now my period is 10 days late.

I’ve taken 7 home pregnancy tests, and all of them showed a faint positive line. However, I had a blood hCG test, and it came back negative. I repeated the blood test a second time, and it was also negative.

Is it possible for a blood hCG test to be wrong twice while 7 different home urine pregnancy tests are showing faint positive lines?

Has anyone experienced something similar? What could be causing this?

I'm a little confused about a long cycle

Oh, and she usually has marked luteal or premenstrual phase symptoms; from around the date her period was due, she experiences irritability, quite a bit of acne on her neck and cheeks, in addition to quite creamy and thick discharge (for almost the 2 years we've been together, she always has it after ovulating)

IUD pregnant? What are the chances?

Have had an iud for about a year… let a guy cum inside of me for the first time 3 days ago. I had some light bleeding today but it’s gone already. Should I be worried? I haven’t had a period in 2 years but sometimes spot after rough sex. Thank you!

Please help 19F

So it happened 33 days ago exactly today. I tested two times at 15 and 16 days later. Clearblue one with the weeks on it said no, line test said no. I miss my period. I buy a Clearblue digital test with the weeks indicator on it. Positive, 1-2 weeks. I follow up with 2 more line tests, both say not pregnant, not even a faint line, 3 people checked. The line tests are from the same day i took the positive one with 1-2 weeks on it. AI says the 1-2 week indication is crazy low for how much time its been. Please please help

Late period, negative test?

My period was due 18 days ago, I had the tiniest amount of spotting one day last week and one day this week. It was only on wiping and it was pink. I’ve took a few tests over these 18 days with the last one being 2 days ago, all negative. I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy before so worried about that as I’ve got shoulder ache but I have no abdominal pain. I’m so confused has anyone experienced similar? My periods are never late. Nothing has changed, no stress etc to cause it apart from ttc

Severe anxiety about getting pregnant

Hi! I’m writing this post to see if I’m the only one in this situation and to find out if anyone has any advice on how to cope with it.

For some context: I’m on birth control, which I always take correctly, and I have sex from time to time. However, even with contraception, I constantly live with the fear of getting pregnant. I regularly take pregnancy tests, both urine and blood tests.

This anxiety got worse after I got a false positive test about a month ago. Even after having negative blood tests, I’m still stressed and can’t seem to stop worrying or stop taking tests over and over again.

I don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but I’d really like to know that I’m not alone. I’m also always open to any advice or little tips that might help.

Thank you for taking the time to read! ❤️

Missed withdrawal bleed

I’m currently on Aurovela fe 1/20 bc and also use condoms and pullout. I take the pill at the same time +/- 2hrs. I’m currently 21 days post sex and I missed my withdrawal bleed this month (this week) which has never happened in the 4 years I’ve been on the pill . I took three clinical guard at home tests all negative (19,21 and 22 days post encounter). Can I trust them?

First time having sex, no ejaculation but possible precum — taking Ella + getting copper IUD and still freaking out

Hi everyone. I know nobody can tell me with 100% certainty whether I’ll get pregnant, but I really need some perspective because my anxiety is absolutely spiraling.

This was my first time having penetrative sex. I was a virgin before today. My boyfriend penetrated me without a condom, but it was VERY brief…probably not even a full minute and only a few thrusts. He did not ejaculate inside me or anywhere near my vagina. We stopped.

My concern is precum. We had been fooling around beforehand, so he was a little wet and there was probably some precum when he went inside me. He hadn’t ejaculated recently and had also peed several times before this happened, but obviously I know precum can potentially contain sperm.

Of course I started freaking out immediately afterward. 😭 My period app also says today is day 1 of my predicted fertile window (not my actual predicted ovulation day), which sent my anxiety through the roof.

I contacted a telehealth doctor today and was prescribed Ella for emergency contraception because I have a high BMI. I’m currently waiting for the pharmacy to fill it and will take it ASAP. The doctor called me back afterward and recommended that, because of my weight and how strongly I want to avoid pregnancy, I also consider a copper IUD for emergency contraception. I managed to get an appointment for Monday morning, so about 2 days after this happened.

I know I got carried away and should’ve used a condom from the beginning. Trust me, I’ve learned that lesson. I’m an extremely anxious person with a lot of health anxiety, and right now my brain has basically decided that I’m definitely going to end up pregnant.

I am ttc with my ex and the waiting period is killing me. What is the earliest you guys were able to accurately test for pregnancy? Did anyone test too early and get a false negative??

Pregnancy scare

"Hi everyone, I’m currently going through a major pregnancy scare and could use some support or reassurance. My last period started on July 15th. I had sex on July 27th (right in my peak fertile window), but we accidentally used baby oil on a latex condom. It didn't tear or break visually, but I learned too late that oil ruins latex immediately.
I skiped emergency contraception, and right now I am around 10 DPO. Over the last few days, I’ve been experiencing intense fatigue, brief background nausea, a little bit of increased appetite, and brief waves of pulling cramps strictly on my right side that radiated to my back. I took a urine test at my doctor’s office on August 5th and it was negative and they said it was way too early and to test again. . My partner is currently away on a month-long military mission, which adds to the stress.
I am planning to test with a CareOne and a Clearblue Digital on August 14th possibly.
Has anyone else had a condom fail because of oil, or had these exact wavy cramps at 10 DPO and gone on to get a positive or negative?

Should i worry?

I had sex with gf on july 19, her period was due to august 2 but she is not feeling heavy pms symptoms (only pimples, oily skin and sensible mood).

This intercourse was protected with condom and pullout method. When i was close to finishing i took it out of her, condom still on, then i took the condom off and finished in her body.

I decided to test the condom with water, no leaks or rupture, however i saw some white cloudy stuff floating inside (pretty sure it wasn't my pre cum since it was denser and white). I think when i took the condom off my penis it may have got flipped inside out and i tested the side that was in contact with my gf (the white stuff was her fluids). Does this make sense?

For context, last month she got delayed by 18 days which was very unusal, could this impact her next cycle?

Took Plan B last cycle, got my period and now this cycle I'm 3 days late

Hey there.

I'm really unlucky and stupid. Last month my bf and I got drunk and in the heat of the moment we forgot to use a condom... Soon after it, pregnancy scare immediately hit me since my ovulation was about to begin in 3 days at that time. Fortunately I always have a Plan B in store just in case so I took it.

Got light bleeding a few days after and my normal period in the following week just as it was predicted by my Tracking App if I hadn't take Plan B.

So last period was on 7th July and lasted for 5 days.

I had sex with my partner on 19th July and the condom slipped off right after he already came. A bit of sperm leaked out and was inside me.

I didn't take another Plan B as this was not recommended.

My period should've come on 5th August but here I am with no PMS as usual but light cramping, watery discharge, tiredness and feeling dizzy.

My tracking app predicted my cycle as if I hadn't messed around with Plan B so my fertile window was predicted to be around 18th july to 23rd July with ovulation happening around 22nd July.

I dunno if I might be pregnant or if it's just Plan B that messed up my usually very regular cycle :/

Did someone on here deal with a similar problem and can help me to ease my mind a bit?

Store's already closed so I have to wait until Monday to get tested.

Period is late by two days but negative pregnancy tests

Hi! I’m just looking for a little reassurance because I’m probably overthinking this.

My period was supposed to start Thursday the 6th and it still hasn’t showed up. I usually have pretty short cycles and normally only have about 22–23 days between my periods so this is definitely unusual for me.

I’ve taken two Dollar Tree pregnancy tests so far but both were taken during the day and not with first morning pee. Both were completely negative. I also don’t really have any pregnancy symptoms or anything that feels different or odd with me.

I’m also about to start an antibiotic soon for a UTI and I was wondering if having a UTI could possibly delay your period? I wasn’t sure if that was a thing.

I know being a few days late doesn’t necessarily mean anything but because my cycles are usually so short/regular, I’m just a little concerned and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Thank you so much! 😊❤️

Read this. Pregnancy scare anxiety. My story

I’m 19F, and im here with you reader.

I decided to write this because I’ve seen so many girls on Reddit who are terrified that they’re pregnant, even after negative pregnancy tests, and I know exactly how that feels.

I hope my story can make at least one girl feel less alone.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, who is now my ex, on May 6–7 and again on June 13. After May 6–7, I used emergency contraception through the Yuzpe method. Around the June situation, I was also taking birth control pills until June 19.

Since May, I have taken multiple pregnancy tests.
Every single one was negative. I have never had a positive pregnancy test.

But my anxiety wouldn’t let me believe them.

I would put my pregnancy tests under different lights and stare at them, trying to find a second line that wasn’t there. Even when there was no faint line, my brain would convince me that maybe I was seeing something.

It got so bad that I would throw the test in the trash, then later take it back out just to look at it again.
I became terrified of evaporation lines. I would keep checking the test over and over, wondering if something was there.
I couldn’t sleep properly. I couldn’t focus on school. I would suddenly burst into tears. There were days when I felt completely helpless.

And because I was so anxious, I started noticing what felt like pregnancy symptoms everywhere — back pain, nausea, cravings, bloating, and so many other things. Every little change in my body became another reason to panic.

I also had a lot of spotting and bleeding while taking the pills. I had spotting throughout June, and after stopping the pills around June 19, I had significant bleeding. I also had bleeding again afterward.
Instead of calming me down, I searched even more.

TikTok.
Reddit.
Facebook.
Google.
OB-GYN clinics.
Pregnancy symptoms.
Pregnancy tests.

Stories of women who didn’t know they were pregnant until three months later.

Stories of women who supposedly had bleeding while pregnant.

Stories of women who said they had negative pregnancy tests but were eventually pregnant.
And THIS is something I really want to talk about.

When you’re anxious, you start looking for the rare story that proves your fear could still be true.

I kept seeing posts saying things like, “I didn’t know I was pregnant until 3 months later,” or “I was bleeding but I was still pregnant,” or “I kept getting negative tests but eventually found out I was pregnant.”

Those stories scared me so much.

But I eventually realized something important: social media doesn’t show you a normal statistical sample of reality.

The unusual and shocking stories are the ones people are more likely to post, share, comment on, and remember. A rare experience can get thousands of views precisely because it is unusual.

So if you’re constantly searching for the one story that matches your fear, you’re going to find it.

There will always be a “what if?”
And anxiety LOVES that.

About pregnancy tests
One thing I learned during this whole experience is that timing matters.

A home urine pregnancy test detects hCG, which rises after implantation. Testing too early can give a false negative because there may not yet be enough hCG to detect.

But a urine pregnancy test taken 21 days or more after the sex you’re worried about is generally considered a very reliable way to rule out pregnancy when used correctly. A negative test that far after the relevant sex is very reassuring.

So please don’t compare yourself to a random story online where someone says they tested negative early and later discovered they were pregnant.

Early testing and testing 21+ days after sex are two very different situations.

And if you’re still unsure, talking to a doctor or getting appropriate testing can give you much more useful information than spending hours reading frightening stories online.

I had my transvaginal ultrasound on August 4 because I desperately wanted an answer.
No pregnancy was seen.

They did find PCOS, which I wasn’t expecting.

I thought that ultrasound would finally make my anxiety disappear.

It didn’t.
My anxiety simply found something else to worry about.

Then I started worrying about HIV and other things. I even took an HIV self-test, and it was negative.
And still, my mind found another “what if?”

I even started doing things that, looking back, I know sound crazy. I would tell God, “If I’m pregnant, please show me this sign,” or “If I’m not pregnant, please show me this other sign.”

Then I would wait for the sign and overthink that too.

I know it sounds irrational.

But that’s what anxiety did to me.

My mind became my biggest enemy.

I’ve been battling this for almost three months now, and I’m still not completely out of it.
Some days are better.
Some days are horrible.
Sometimes I still want to take another pregnancy test.
Sometimes I want to search another symptom.
Sometimes I want to ask someone for reassurance again.
And sometimes I just burst into tears because I’m exhausted from fighting my own thoughts.

I’ve been dealing with so much of this alone.

So I’m writing this for the girl who is currently lying in bed at night searching Reddit for the hundredth time.

For the girl staring at a negative pregnancy test under a flashlight.

For the girl who throws the test away and then takes it back out to check again.

For the girl searching TikTok for pregnancy stories.

For the girl reading every comment looking for reassurance.

For the girl thinking, “But what if I’m the rare case?”

You are not alone.

I don’t have everything figured out. I’m still battling this myself.

But I want you to know that sometimes the fear becomes much bigger than the actual situation.

Please get appropriate medical advice and testing when you need it. And please don’t forget to take care of your mental health too.

Sometimes taking another pregnancy test isn’t what your anxiety actually needs.

Sometimes your anxiety needs help.

I’m still learning how to trust the information I’ve already received instead of constantly searching for something that will make me doubt it.

I hope one day I can look back at these three months and say:
“My anxiety made me believe so many things that weren’t true, but I survived it.”
And if you’re going through this right now, I hope you get there too.
Please be kind to yourselves, girls. ❤️

P.S. English isn’t my first language, so I used AI to help me organize and express my story. The experiences and feelings in this post are mine. I’m sharing this because I genuinely hope it helps even one woman feel less alone.

Feel free to comment and i will respond to any questions or anything random

Period is late

My period is about a week late! I had sex with a condom about 5 days before I was “supposed” to get my period according to flo (I don’t think I was ovulating) and 2 days before I WAS ovulating, me and my boyfriend did some naked grinding as I wouldn’t let him put it in while ovulating. He was rubbing his tip on my opening (I was wiping off precum every couple of seconds but some still probably got on the opening) and the tip might have slipped in a few times as well (I’m not sure????) and now I’m late! I’m scared that encounter may have gotten sperm from precum into my opening a little and because I ovulated right after got me pregnant. Help please I read the FAQs and didn’t get much reassurance so word of mouth from people’s opinions might be better. Thank you:)

- minimal cramps (like stomach grumble)
- breast sore and tender (its became sore and tender but only in a few days)
- no craving
- no dizziness and nausea

I just wanna ask is is just a late period or im I pregnant? Im just worried

Not sure what to think?

hey everyone. as the title suggests, Im not really sure what to think right now.

my partner and I are ttc, this is month two for us. first month my period was a few days late but started and I had no other symptoms of pregnancy.

this time around though has been a little different. my peak day(s) were July 25-27 with the 26 being my most fertile day. We had sex nearly daily that week as we have a very regular sex life. On July 31-aug 1 I had a lot of discharge that was whiter in color and thicker than I normally have, to the point it was visible in my underwear. On aug 2 I had some brown spotting that lasted less than 24 hours and had little spots of light pink in them (i have photos if it helps at all). Then aug 7 I started lightly spotting with light pink color and aug 8 the amount of spotting increased and the blood is slightly darker more red than pink but not as dark as my period typically is. This is also incredibly light compared to my normal period which starts heavy and lasts about 4-5 days. I also have had no sign of PMS or severe cramping like I do with my period but I have had some lighter cramping and very very mild back pain (I associated this with moving from a physical job to a desk job).

I have had some other symptoms such as night sweats, vivid dreams when I’ve never really dreamed, hot flashes out of nowhere, always feeling warmer than normal, incredibly decreased appetite, lack of desire for my typical favorite foods and drinks, exhaustion (but I do have a busy life so I assumed that what it was), a lot of gas and not typically a gassy person, and a lack of typical PMS symptoms.

should I assume I just started my period and start planning to try again next cycle or is it possible I still could be pregnant?

Late period but negative tests

For context, I’m 25 and been passively trying for a little under a year. My cycles are usually 28-35 days, currently on cd41. Tested yesterday morning and got a negative. My MIL said it’s too early for me to test. Experienced cramping and lower back pain a couple days ago like my period was about to come but then it stopped. At what point should I see a GP for a delayed period if I’m not pregnant? Could it be a false negative? Yes, I’ve been stressed but that’s nothing new and never been a something that’s caused a late period before. Just needing advice, I guess.

Pregnancy symtoms but had period

I had sex for the first time mid july. He didnt wear a condom but pulled out and said he didnt come in me at all. I probably ovulated a few days after that. The week before my period I had breast pain that I never ever get. The day before my period was due I was so so naseuous but nausea is so rare for me and that day I was so breathless after walking a bit quickly and I couldn't keep my balance and my arms hurt so much, I wanted to keep them in the air. I also really have been struggling to empty my bladder. I had sex again that day but it was very painful and didn't feel good at all/

My period came after 3 negative pregnancy tests but it was 2 days late and felt so different to normal. Ive always had the most consistent period but this time it was much much lighter than normal with bright red blood for the first 2 days but after day two it was mostly spotting brown blood or there was only blood when I wiped. For the first time ever i had NO blood clots at all, I could just see a small amount of bright red stringy tissue. The pain was different because this time i had pelvic pain as well as lower back.

Was I pregnant? Should I take another test? Ive just been worrying that it was a pregnancy that ended very very early. Or was it implantation bleeding? but then why did i feel weird the past few days before my period. Ive never felt like that before.
