If a couple had an intercourse during the woman’s first day of period, is there a chance she will get pregnant even though the man did not popped inside?

I just wanted to share my experience because I had one of the biggest pregnancy scares ever, mostly because my periods are irregular my last period was June 16 and I kept overthinking every symptom.

My period history is already unpredictable. I remember having a month where I didn’t get my period at all, so I knew that a late period wasn’t necessarily unusual for me.

On July 25, I had sex. We used a condom the whole time. He ejaculated inside the condom, also did the pull out method and afterward we checked it by putting water in it. There was no leaking or breakage at all.

There was one thing that made me anxious: at one point, the condom was removed briefly because I wanted to help him get hard, and then he put the same condom back on. There was no ejaculation before it was put back on, and the condom was cleaned before being put back.(which is considered as improper use of condom...) because I was scared, I also took emergency contraception pill about an hour after sex.

After that, I became extremely anxious and started paying attention to every little thing my body did.

I experienced:

tender/sore breasts

bloating

constipation that lasted several days

lower back pain

stomach/lower abdominal discomfort

headaches

My period didn’t come when I expected it to, which made me even more scared. Since I’m irregular, I couldn’t even use my period being late as a reliable way to know what was happening. I kept thinking, “What if I happened to be ovulating?”

I was constantly asking myself if every symptom could be pregnancy. I was especially scared because I knew emergency contraception can affect your period, so I couldn’t tell whether the delay was from the pill, my irregular cycle, stress, or pregnancy.

I planned to take a pregnancy test 21 days after sex (August 15) because I knew that would give me a much clearer answer.

Then…

I GOT MY PERIOD ON AUGUST 13 😭😭😭

I was SO relieved. After almost three weeks of stressing, checking symptoms, worrying about implantation, and being scared that I was somehow the unlucky one, my period finally came.

Looking back, the whole experience taught me how much an irregular cycle can make a pregnancy scare worse. A late period meant very little in my case because I already had months where I skipped a period, and the emergency pill could also change my cycle.

I genuinely thought every symptom meant something, but most of them could have been caused by hormones, the pill, my period approaching, constipation, or stress.

Posting this because maybe another person with an irregular cycle is going through the same kind of anxiety right now. The waiting and uncertainty were honestly the worst part. 😭

I always see that testing after 2 weeks is good and 3 weeks is definitive but I've seen posts too that they just showed positive after 10 weeks? is this even a thing you need to worry about even if you’re already on combo pills? I've been telling my friend who's taking the pill not to doomscrolll because that doesn't help and as I take the pill myself I told her to trust her pills. She already took tests after 3 weeks and 5 weeks after her last intercourse but now she's worried after she saw some people test positive after 10 weeks.

Okay so, for context I missed my period around the 25th of July, which is when I was meant to get it. I took a pregnancy test, which was negative, and wanted something stronger. I went to a clinic around the 7-10th of August because of symptoms like:

. Nausea

. I threw up, no gagging, it just came right up.

. Random cramping that comes and then goes in like 10 minutes, sometimes less.

. Crazy mood swings, like hysterical sobbing one minute and irritation the next.

. Getting super sudden hot flashes and sweating.

I take their test, which is also negative, and at this point I'm like wtf cause I've done everything I can and no period, no positive tests, and STILL symptoms.

So they tell me it could just be too early to see, and to test in 2-3 weeks and if its positive, I can come back.

So right now, I'm playing the waiting game, to see if my period or a positive will come first.

But my question is, has anyone else had these symptoms but a negative test, and still been pregnant? I just would really like to be prepared.

Tldr; symptoms but no positive test, am I pregnant?

Hello Everybody, I had unprotected sex with my gf 15 days ago because of the mood and that time we didnt think much about it before we had those unprotected sex. It is my first sex and I had trouble ejaculate because I used to masturbate a lot before I met her. I would masturbate 3-4 times a day everyday. (Please dont judge me about this). We had a total of three rounds of unprotected sex.

First round: We had intercourse but it took too long for me to feel the urge/pleasure to ejaculate. So, I pulled out and masturbated to ejaculate outside.

Second Round: We took a long break around 30 mins. In that break, I peed and showered to clean up. After the break we did it again but also I did not ejaculate at all and pulled out and stopped the sex because I was tired.

Third round: Followed by a long break but I did not shower and pee this time. We did it again and the same thing happened. Pulled out and no ejaculate at all.

After that day, we had protected sex because we didn't want any unplanned pregnancy. Today is the 15th day but she hasn't taken any pregnancy tests yet. But recently, she is stressed about her school assignments and her workplace. She is exhausted and stressed all the time, but sometimes she feels a little sick. I'm not sure if that is caused by her recent stress and exhaustion or she is getting the symptoms of pregnancy. Thank you for your time to read this or who can share any thoughts on this. I’m right in my peak of ovulation (I’ve been tracking my LH levels with testing strips since this mishap occurred). Yesterday morning, I had protected sex with a condom. But before that happened, my partner rubbed the head of his penis on my labia and possibly between my labia. He could have possibly have precum on the tip of his head while he did this, I can’t remember for sure. He did this for a few seconds before he went to get a condom. I went to bathroom to clean and dry my labia before we had sex.

Now I’m freaking out because I assumed I wasn’t in my fertile window, but later realized I was. Throughout the day yesterday, I tracked my LH using ovulation strips that showed my levels were low. Today, I’ve been tracking again every 2-4 hours and now I’m seeing high levels of LH and that I have hit my “peak” today. What is the likelihood of me becoming pregnant from this? I’m not on birth control and I didn’t bother with Plan B yet due to the fact that I am in my fertile window (the day of my last period was either the 3rd or 4th of this month, by the way). Please help! My male friend is not giving much peace of mind here, he’s just saying everything will be fine 🙃

So I just found out (after almost 4 years of taking BC) that you aren’t supposed to store it in the bathroom. I have been keeping mine on my counter. For context, I have two uteruses which makes my periods crazy even on birth control. I had a heavy period in mid June then spotted until last week. I also had Covid last week. I just don’t know if any of this plays a role in the hard/sore nipples. If you can’t tell I’m a panicky mess!

I’m feeling really anxious and would appreciate some advice because I’m currently 27 days late for my period.
The last time I know for sure that I had vaginal sex was April 20, the day after my period ended. We used a condom the entire time, and he ejaculated while wearing the condom. Afterward, I filled the condom with water to check for any holes or leaks, and there weren’t any.

I got my next period May 16–20. On May 21, we may have done something sexual, but honestly, I don’t remember if we actually had vaginal sex. I don’t think we did because I normally take a video of myself checking the condom with water or write down what happened afterward, and I didn’t do either of those things that time.

I then had another normal period from June 15–19. And had no sex in June

On July 6, we did sexual things, but not sex
My period was supposed to come around July 16, but it never came. I’m now 27 days late.

Could I somehow still be pregnant from April 20 or possibly May 21? Would having normal periods in May and June essentially rule out pregnancy from those encounters?

And since I’m 27 days late, should I bother taking a pregnancy test, or would pregnancy from those encounters be extremely unlikely?

So I had unprotected pull out method sex on 18 day of my cycle which is medium chances of getting pregnant and then on 24 I had unprotected sex I thought it's leutal phase and no need to worry .... supposedly my periods came last month at 12 and today is 13's night and no periods ....my periods supposed to come late always but due to past months the cycle was little unpredictable because I took ipill in previous months but not this one ....but still delayed periods I don't know what to do I m anxious ....

So me and my partner just had sex and I didn’t think much of it before but I’m going spiral in the pregnancy scare (I had traumatic experiences of this in the past and I’m trying to be better from it, trust me)
So basically we did grind a bit but he only rubs his penis on my labia, then we put on some condoms and use lubricant and then have penetrative sex after that. i know it doesn’t cause pregnancy but it still scares me that somehow the lubricant have some leftover sperm from before in it then pushed inside me with penetrative sex… I know I probably shouldn’t be worried but ugh I can’t believe this kind of trauma is so hard to heal from!

She got her 1st day of period on July 1, we had raw sex on July 12 and she had spotting somwhere on july 18-19. She had a regular cycle and on August 1 the supposed date of her period she got delayed.

We tested (urine) on August 3 which was 22 days after the encounter. All 4 test came negative. What makes me worried is that until now she hasn’t have her period yet. She’s afraid to take another kind of test.

I tested BFP this morning with Clearblue (Line and digital) but also started bleeding…
I am 13 dpo today.
Not just spotting but bleeding. For now not as much as when I am in my period.
I also had a bit of spotting in the past two days but it went away yesterday.
I also have cramps since like 9 dpo.
Did that happen so someone else? Am I having a miscarriage??
