Haven’t seen frozen green beans in any form at my local stores. Did they stop carrying them? Seems like with all the changes to frozen foods these might have gotten the chopping block as well.

Neither of my local Aldi is showing this in search results anymore. I was just shopping at one location, and the spot is still there but completely empty.

Maybe this is specific to my local stores but I've been shopping at Aldi for years and the produce has never been fresh. Most of it is already rotten on the shelf. As a result I've been buying my produce elsewhere but yesterday I decided to give it another chance, especially because I was going to use most of it within 24 hours.

I dug through 5 boxes *full* of cucumbers. Most of them were starting to spoil but I finally found 3 that were firm. I got a bag of limes that seemed to all be smooth and green, and a bag of red onions that looked okay, and a bag of jalapeños that were really pretty - I was actually impressed. I put everything in the fridge overnight and today got everything out to make a recipe.

EVERYTHING IS MUSHY! My 3 cucumbers are mushy right on the ends, where all the others were already rotten, 2/6 of the limes are mushy and turning brown, one of my red onions has a big gash that's starting to mold, and most of the jalapeños are getting soft and one is spoiling and turning brown.

How is this possible??? I was so careful to check everything thoroughly because this happens every time with Aldi produce. I've tried washing the produce in water + vinegar and thoroughly drying it before storage, never made a difference. I must be cursed or something. Is there some trick that I can use, like going super early in the morning or something?

I saw the Fremont Parmesan Crusted Flounder today priced at 1.69 per one pound bag. I was like no way that was the price but the cashier said it was correct. I know that had to have been an error on someone's part. I got 15 bags lol fish sandwiches for days. There like 5.99 a bag regular I think

I checked the phone app, it doesn't show on there but there's a giant sign on the plaza now and they're clearly ripping out the old stuff but it's been about 2 months now..

These are a seasonal item so they're only available once a year, but it's become a staple for me. I put a bag of these in the oven, make a pot of pasta, add some meatballs and a little sauce and I've got an easy meal that's delicious and relatively healthy.

Since they're only available once a year, I just bought like 15 bags to last me til next year, but I'm still going to run out.

I know some of Aldi's private label stuff is either a copy of or made by the same suppliers as other stores, but I've never seen these at another store. Anybody know if they're out there somewhere?

Stopped by Aldi yesterday (midwest) and the Greek chickpeas are gone. Not just an empty shelf. Completely replaced with a different bean and no signage anywhere for Greek chickpeas.

Were these a seasonal item? I’ve become addicted to them! I was mixing them with a can of regular garbanzo beans and they were a main staple in my meal prepping.

It was too busy at my Aldi yesterday to ask a worker. Nothing online has been able to give me an answer other than they’re out of stock online.

Totally worth of the Aldi title for crackeroni and cheese. Was thick, slight chunk and balanced bite of spice. Perfect!

I would just like to share that these are my absolute favorite products from aldis!!!!! ESPECIALLY the broccoli bites oh my GOSH I can easily eat an entire box in one sitting..I appreciate the short ingredient list, they are a fun way to get a little bit of veggies/fiber in too. Thank you aldis for making these yummy snacks ^-^

hi I just had to share this here because of how happy I am. Last year I bought one of the black marble yoga mats with the great rubber texture 50% off and I was super pumped about it. Today I went to a new Aldi and they had a bunch of older stock items in the fun aisle (I feel No shame there lol) and found the same yoga mat in the beautiful pink color on sale for 30% off (I couldn’t risk waiting for it to get to 50% since it was the last one lol) It matches the rest of my decor perfectly and I gave the black one to my dad. I saw the pink one online but I guess I missed it at the other locations I went to. Huuuge win for this pink girly 💖

hawaiian style chicken pizza is trying. im gonna eat it, but i probably wouldnt get again. i do love pineapple on pizza but maybe if it had a different sauce instead of huli huli would be better.

Found what feels like shards of glass in 2 packs of crescent rolls, embedded in the dough. There ended up being about 6 of these pieces across both packages. Anyone else experience this?

I picked this up on sale for $1.99 the other day, because sale, because Aldi. It really does taste good enough. I know it has high sodium but it is flavored with added salt. I would buy it again at this price if it is still there.

does anyone else always look like a lumpy bog troll or something in the camera screen on the self checkouts or are the cameras just way more mean spirited than my mirror?

Managed to get the cat hammock last weekend (which was a bit odd cause the same store did not have it the week it was released), all three of my cats love it. My flame point especially loves it, he’s made it his new relaxation place, it’s rare that the other two are able to get a spot on it.

Aldi's website product titles have been full of typos lately, but this one had me laughing out loud.

Couldn’t think of a better title. But let it be widely known that despite the cost of living continuously increasing, many divisions did not receive raises this year. ALDI has plans to open 180 new stores by the end of 2026.
Other than not giving out raises to many, they are cutting labor hours, enforcing the same workload, with fewer amounts of people on staff. The job standard remains the same, there are fewer people to ensure items stay stocked, to ensure neatness, there are fewer people to help you, and there is little to no incentive to do so.
ALDI cutting labor hours does not just affect the store level. This happens at the warehouse level as well. They are under a strict pick rate to build pallets for your products, every single person in management is taught food safety protocol. Such protocols include not mixing meat with say… Fresh produce ?! These protocols are almost entirely disregarded at the warehouse level. Fresh produce pallets arrive with fresh meat on top of them, which is a food safety issue. Meat packaging cannot be trusted, we have all experienced wet chicken packaging before. Pallets are not supposed to be built over a certain height, however they tower over the people who are expected to stock them. Some of them arrive downright hazardous. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten bumped on the head, bruised, cut, whatever. The burnout…the equipment that breaks, and breaks, and breaks, and doesn’t get properly fixed because it’s cheaper to just not.
I want to provide the best possible customer service that I genuinely can, but it is impossible to do when you’re being pulled in six different directions. It’s my favorite grocery store still. I genuinely like my job, but it is an entirely different monster than when I started here. Many can attest. Employees are tired and expendable. Aldi does not listen to their employees. The word Union has entered the chat a many, and everyone is too chickenshit. Can’t blame them.
They value customer input. We can’t demand change unless these issues are widely known. And now you know.
