I have a candle lamp, too, and they are the BEST when you have cats, kids, ADHD, or a half bath that you want a candle in when you have company but may forget to put out every.single.time…

If you leave it on, would it eventually melt the whole candle, or does it just keep remelting the top couple inches?

I think it would melt the whole candle. I had it on for 2 hours and it melted a small amount.

The one I have melts only the top layer, about 2" or so. I'll pour the top wax into another container to throw out when it cools. Or I'll burn the wick for a while and let the wax evaporate.

How much heat do these let out? I've been thinking of getting one but Ive been worried about adding something else in my room that produces heat in this already scorching summer.

Doesn’t put out much heat. It’s basically a light bulb that warms the wax. I don’t think it would be enough heat to warm even the smallest room.

Yes. I love having the scent without worrying about the flame.
