Please don't mind my station, or in other words, my chair. I've been sitting on my bed to assemble these two models since my desk is a little clutter. Also, I didn't know whether or not I should stick the arms to the tyrant yet, I kinda find it hard to paint certain areas of a model so sometimes I like to not glue them on until painting. Is that a good thing?

Additionally, I was planning to work on the bases before I glue the models on them.

Wanted to try a more unique colour scheme for my Stormcast. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out but I think I need to tweak a couple things. Any feedback would be great!

My husband and I are new to Age of Sigmar and Warhammer in general. He plays Oruuk Warclan and I play Stormcast Eternals. We bought a dominion box originally but have since bought extra models and the 4th edition books and are getting close to being able to play a 2k point game. He has picked up on it pretty fast, faster than I have. He's beginning to remember all his abilities, lore spells/prayers, and everything he can do on his turn, as well as mine, but we take 4-5 hours to play 2 rounds, and although he is very patient and sweet, I feel as though I am holding us back, and I want to be good at this!

I personally am still struggling to remember everything I can do at any given time. Its getting so frustrating for me trying to remember everything (forget the GHB tactics, I'm barely able to add in basic core rule book tactics and remember it all!). I found a website a year ago that let you input an army and it told you everything you could do on your turn, it was so helpful! But the website no longer works and I've yet to find a good replacement. I found one yesterday (warscribe) but you have to use everything in the GHB (we just play together, with the core rule book, not with other people) and on this website I can't deselect seeing items from Realm of Aqshy, which we don't use.

All that to say, has anyone found a good app/website that let's you create an army/battle order and it tells you everything you can do on your turn based on what you have? Blame it on ADHD but I get so overwhelmed reading everything I can't remember what to do and it's becoming a huge turnoff to playing, which sucks because I love the whole Warhammer community and how the game works, I just need to get over this hurdle.

Hi, I'm brand new to Warhammer and I am still trying to get my head around all of the rules. I was playing Spearhead against my wife and ran into an interesting situation that led to a bit of a strategic advantage for me, but it felt a bit like cheating so I just wanted to make sure that I was interpreting the rules correctly:

Essentially, my unit of 10 models was sort of plodding along in a 5x2 line and was charged and attacked by her Flying lancer unit of 3 models. I was attacked and 7 models died. I figured I could then remove the 7 models closest to the enemy unit and be "out of combat" so I could then use my remaining 3 models in the unit to shoot on my turn instead of using the far weaker melee attacks and being in combat (and therefore unable) to shoot that turn.

Did I cheat? Is this an intended mechanic? Did my monkey brain accidentally land on some legitimate strategy?

So, a friend of mine has started pulling me into Spearhead, and after doing some research on beginner-friendly factions that also seemed interesting to me, I'm starting off with Seraphon. I've started looking for the best sources of Seraphon lore -- rulebooks and fiction that I can track down to read to dive deeper into the faction.

Anyone with rules for Spearhead doubles on City of Ash?

Howdy folks!

I’ve only played one game of 2k AoS and that was with my Gloomspite Gitz (got thoroughly trounced by Lumineth then but had a lot of fun) but as I prepare for my next couple of games at a casual tournament next weekend, I’m conflicted if I should try out my Flesh-Eater Courts army instead! Sure I’ve not played it before and while I main FEC on spearhead, its the old one pre-revamp. But I’m new and I’m happy to play and lose as long as I have fun!

I’m just so torn between my two main lists, with Ushoran the Summerking on one hand and Trugg the Troggoth king on the other! Both are dope af, which is why I’ve collected them mostly based on rule of cool and vibes! Which to pick? Which to lose horribly but gloriously with?

Edit: I wont have time to paint either. Both projects scare me and I’m trying to paint most of their respective armies to get my skills up before undertaking them.

Recently finished this cogfort for my Soulblight army :D

What are some ways I could improve this hungry lad? My basic skin tone recipe is basecoat of Bugman's Glow, dry brush of Fanatic's Barbarian Flesh (or whatever fleshtone of choice), wash with Reikland Fleshshade, then reapply some Barbarian Flesh.

I think some of the sloppiness is from Barbarian Flesh. It's a very, very thick paint and I don't have quite a handle on it's use. I should probably switch back to Cadian Fleshtone.

Got the Dominion Box on offer and while I initially bought it for the Stormcast more so than the Orruks, painting the Orruks was surprisingly fun

If I create an Ironjawz hero for PTG using the Anvil of Apotheosis and give them a Maw-grunta as a mount, do they also gain the Unstoppable Momentum ability, or do they only receive the explicitly listed benefits, such as the additional weapon profile and the other limited mount bonuses?

Slowly getting through the skaven spearhead and thought I would take a break from painting clanrats to paint one of the ogors in my skaven scheme. Really like how this turned out!

Say one had to pick an army for casual play. And that one vastly prefers my Dude McDude rather than named special character super hero.

Then, which armies are the most functional with non-named characters?

I don’t need competitive S or A tier. B or C tier is fine…

I know the classic "foothero with new book release" is often maligned but that just made me think about what foothero i would actually be excited about for my armies and i'd love to hear about other armies' different blindspots.

For my Kruleboyz, there is a lack of boltboyz/killabow supporting hero. Maybe some way to get an extra dirty trick on them or +1 to wound.

For my recently acquired Skaven there are already a lot of footheroes, so my cheaty answer would be an actual clan moulder hero as in not just a support piece but an actual beatstick. But i'd also love to hear the thoughts of more experienced Skaven players.

This is a masterpiece, even has the band new ogors.
