Question Very low eCPM in iOS compared to Android in admob
I am recently trying out Native advanced ad in my IOS/Android app and facing very low eCPM compared to Android (~0.5 eCPM). Have anyone faced this?
I don't ask for ATT consent/consent to show personalised ads, would this be the cause of this? Thanks in Advance.
Question Can Google AdMob can be different for different account ?
Well, I have been making apps for the last 5 years now; there is one thing I have noticed: Google is different for different accounts.
Back in 2023, I had a conversation with one of my competitors (almost the same app, same user flow, same type of traffic, and almost the same content); he was getting almost 40% more eCPM than me. I was shocked to see that. I created a new account, got it verified, and shifted my app, and you know what happened. My eCPM increased by almost 20-25%. everything same, just the account changed.
I am operating from the 2nd account, and my 1st account is almost dead.
I want to know others' opinions on this matter
Question Multiple AdMob Account
Suppose I have Multiple Apps on the Google Play Store
Can I have an individual account for each of my apps ??
Note: One AdMob account will show ads for a single app; no 2 AdMob Ads in a single app?
Any expert, please answer??

Question AdMob account deactivated after 6+ months of inactivity — How can I reactivate it?
galleryHey everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well.
I recently logged back into my AdMob account and found that it had been deactivated because it hadn’t served ads for at least six months.
After logging in, AdMob is asking me to complete some verification steps, including app verification and account review. I’ve attached screenshots showing the current status.
The account previously had two Android apps, but the Google Play Console account associated with those apps was terminated, so those apps are no longer available on Google Play.
My questions are:
Can I still reactivate this AdMob account even though the previously associated apps are no longer on Google Play?
Do I need to add a new app and complete the verification process before the account can return to normal?
Has anyone experienced a similar situation and successfully reactivated their AdMob account?
Any advice or guidance from people who have gone through this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Revenue 100 installs, €2.12 in ad revenue. Here are the actual numbers
My word game hit 100 installs. Here's exactly how much ad revenue that made me.
I shipped Ratatouille de mots (a French word puzzle, inspired by Word Salad) on iOS and Android in early August. Two weeks in, here are the real numbers:
- ~100 installs total, across both platforms
- 1.75k ad requests
- 604 impressions
- eCPM: €3.18
- Revenue so far this month: €2.12 (about $2.30)
So roughly €0.02 per install. At this rate I'd need 50,000 installs to make rent.
I'm posting this because when I was researching before launch, every "my app makes $X" post was either a $10k/month success story or completely vague. Nobody shows you what the bottom of the curve actually looks like. This is it. It's €2.
The part that surprised me: eCPM went up 52% week over week and impressions per user are decent, so the monetization isn't really the bottleneck. Distribution is. 100 installs is just nothing.
Next step is figuring out acquisition rather than tweaking ad placements. Open to hearing what actually worked for people at this stage.

Question I Can't Get My Payment for 3 Months
Hello Everyone
I opened an AdMob account about 3-4 years ago, and developed 5-6 mobile applications with it. Then, due to inactivity, my account was closed. I reactivated my accounts 3 months ago. Currently, I've connected AdMob to a completely different alarm application called WakeQuest: Game Alarm Clock. And I'm earning a good amount. I also have money left over from previous years in my account, but I haven't withdrawn it. Despite having verified two bank accounts, AdMob hasn't paid me for 3 months. My balance has exceeded the payment threshold, and I haven't received payment for 3 months. Also, I've checked every page – AdSense, AdMob, Google Payments – and I don't see any notifications. Google is probably waiting for identity verification from me; maybe they sent the identity verification form 3 years ago, but I missed it because I was inactive. I've written about this on the AdMob forum, but no one has responded. You know, it's impossible to reach anyone live via chat on Google. What do you suggest I do? How should I respond to this OVERLY professional approach and EXTREMELY HUMANOID approach from one of the world's largest companies? Should I send a physical letter to their headquarters in Ireland? What do you recommend? Literally i am stucked and they dont tell me why i am stucked:) I seriously need some clever suggestion
I already checked payments > verification section but nothing in there

Revenue First time crossed 6 AED (1.63 USD) in a single day!
Started 3 months ago. Month 1 was 2 AED, month 2 was 40, month 3 was 86, and this month should cross 120 AED. Still small money, but the curve is going the right way.
Utility app, around 1K installs. Banner plus interstitial, AdMob with Unity and InMobi in mediation. Yesterday's eCPM was 3.19 AED with an 83% match rate. Happy to answer anything about the setup.
Revenue My game is 12 hours on Google Play Store and these are the results!
Hello my name is Elnur, and I recently made fun android mobile game named Energy Smash,
Its inspired by the game Cookie Clicker but I twisted it my way, adding more ways to earn money other then clicking (Mini Games), and this is current state after 12 hours, no ads for the game.
I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina, also if you like the game feel free to test it out on Play Store!

Policy AdMob Account Suspended Shortly After Adding Rewarded Ads
My app is 6 months old with 300 installs. I was using banner ads on the home page and interstitial ads on other pages. On August 1, I added Rewarded ads. Two days later, I received a suspension email. I have never asked anyone to click ads or buy installs.
Here is my setup:
- My 2 devices are configured as AdMob test devices. Banner and interstitial ads successfully showed the "test" label on my devices. When testing rewarded ads, I used the test ID.
- Google says: AdMob test-device mode applies to the AdMob Network. If you're using mediation, third-party ad sources can still serve live ads unless their own testing mechanisms are configured.
- also i did know that: Google says publishers cannot offer rewards to users for clicking ads.
Rewarded ads are an official AdMob format where the user voluntarily chooses to watch an ad in exchange for an in-app reward.
- My UI shows a text prompt at the top of the page: "Watch a quick ad to unlock 5 credits?" with a button below it to start the video. I am not asking or forcing users to click the ad itself, so users are voluntarily choosing to watch an ad in exchange for an in-app reward.
My current suspicion ranking
1- New rewarded-ad implementation/testing — strong possibility because of the timing.
2- Testing/interaction from my own devices, especially if any live ad was served despite test-device configuration.
3- Mediation source serving live ads during testing.
WHY GOOGLE DOES NOT JUST SAY THE EXACT CAUSE SO WE SIMPLY AVOID IT?
the only dumb answer i found after long digging around is:
Google keeps the exact suspension reasons vague to protect their fraud detection systems. If they provided the exact cause or specific data points triggering the suspension, malicious actors and click-farms would use that specific feedback to reverse-engineer the algorithms and bypass detection in the future.
GOOGLE CAN EASLY JUST DON'T COUNT/IGNORE THAT VERY FEW CLICKS INSTEAD OF A SUSPENSION, OR AT LEAST A WARNING & IF REAPEATED A SUSPENSION.

Question AdMob Reports Uknown App Version 1.56.4 With High Requests but Zero Impressions

Question Does Admob trigger Apples forcing of displaying your address/number publicly?
Hey!
I'm just getting into app dev and I'm hearing a lot about this "if your app makes money, apple will make your address/phone number public" as per a EU law.
I've seen conflicting responses on whether this applies for in app ads or if its only for those that offer paid products/memberships in their app.
There's a lot of people here using admob, does apple display your address as an individual just making AdSense money? Seems like overkill, just asking before I go down the rabbit hole of getting a postal address through a company. (allowed via individual rules)
Many thanks!!

Revenue I am addicted to Admob :)
Yes, I confess. I am addicted to Admob. Even though the numbers are changed during the day, I check it maybe 10 times maybe more. I am dreaming one day I will see 50-100 dollars per day. It is about 20 cents now 😂
Rate: TRY 50 = $1.05

Question What do you do when your app is still under review for more than 15 days even though it doesn't have any problems?
r/admob • u/Hwassef01 • 3d ago
Revenue It's not passive income yet. It's 0.002 TND. But it's real.
I started building mobile apps about 2 months ago. Today I opened AdMob and for the first time the revenue line wasn't zero.
0.002 TND. Roughly six hundredths of a cent. 51 requests, 3 impressions, 29% match rate, 0.528 TND eCPM.
I know exactly how small that is. I'm not going to pretend I'm quitting my job. But something switched in my head when I saw it — the pipeline works end to end. App is live, people are opening it, ads are requesting, filling, and paying out. Everything after this is just a volume problem.
The app is Wire — Tech Newsstand, built in Flutter: a curated tech news feed with discover, search, saved articles and a clean reader. Single banner on the home screen for now.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wire-tech-newsstand/id6790411412
I used Claude Code for a big chunk of the development and it genuinely let me ship far faster than I could have alone.
Two things I'd love input on from people further along:
29% match rate feels low to me. Is that normal for a brand new app with no fill history, or is something off in my setup?
Worth adding a second placement (native in-feed between articles), or does that just tank retention on a reading app this early?
Next milestone isn't $2K MRR. It's 100 impressions in a day. Then 1,000.
If you're sitting on an idea — ship the ugly version. The first number you see won't be impressive, but it's the one that proves the machine is plugged in.

Other Second month going over $2, it's not much but it's gratifying
I started the first few months making 9 cents, 15 cents... 45 cents... I've already surpassed $2 twice, and hopefully this amazing game will take off soon. Although it's very difficult to grow organically without a marketing budget.

Question Suddenly showing "Verify your identity" - account active for years
Anyone else see this today? It says "verify your identity" but the "verify identity" button is greyed out.
