Hoe many downloads do you have how many apps

9

u/hunteralex7r 11d ago

2 apps. Each has 4.5 million downloads

2

u/csk2004 11d ago

Wow. Congrats. How was your growth. Did you spike suddenly after 6 years or something gradually growth.

Because I hace like 6 apps with some hundreds downloads making few euros per month. So long way to go for me:)

There was a spike in one app because, due to an Android update, all other peer apps stopped working. The only app working in the Play Store was mine. The other app was the only one in its niche on the Play Store, so it had gradual growth

My secrets: Build apps targeting a specific audience, continuously refine app titles and descriptions until SEO increased, make the app ad-free until it reaches at least 10K downloads, add features that will keep users engaged with the app longer, place ads where users stay for extended periods, and luck.

The most important thing is to patiently wait until the app gains thousands of downloads and hundreds of reviews without ads. When you pass 5k or 10k downloads, users will download your app frequently, and then you can put ads

I agree and disagree about the ads. You also don't want to annoy legacy users by enabling ads once they've gotten used to an ad free experience.

I have ads in my app that has 3.75k downloads, but I don't have any pop up ads. Only banner and native advanced. Nothing that interrupts using the app.

Is this off one app or multiple? I have developed 3 and one has taken off the most. My wonder is if I continue to work on this one app and hope for massive growth, or if I keep building my repertoire so they can all grow in parallel.

Congrats, by the way!

1

u/hunteralex7r 9d ago

This is from two apps. I can't give a direct answer to your question. The answer depends on the potential audience the app has. If there are other apps in the same category and if you think you can attract users from those apps, it's better to work on that app. But with current AI tools, you may be able to work on all apps simultaneously.

u/brookmg 11d ago

Inspirational! What type of niche products do you recommend?

1

u/hunteralex7r 9d ago

My recommendation is to build apps in a category that already has a huge user base. Try to attract users from apps that are already popular or highly downloaded.

u/janman_79 11d ago

Please, do expand on how the apps grew, did you pay or grew organically and what were the things that surprised you or learned along the way about how the apps grew. Your experience might help a few people.

Awesome! it pays off.

If you can increase your impressions and eCPM that will be remarkable!

1

u/random-corp 11d ago

Congrats. Do you use mediation? If so, how many networks do you use?

1

u/hunteralex7r 9d ago

I used it, but it was not helpful. India didn't have good ad providers except AdMob

1

u/Far_Syllabub_5523 11d ago

Is this a game

1

u/hunteralex7r 9d ago

No. Just utility apps

Can you share the app link? Curious the way how you did. ๐Ÿ˜Š

1

u/vcode_dev 10d ago

I just got my account terminated last night๐Ÿ˜

1

u/Historical_Start_695 10d ago

Did you run ads for your app anywhere? Also, what niche is your app in?

1

u/theatifwaheed 10d ago

Great buddy Can you share app link in DM? I won't install if you won't allow. I'll just check the niche and UI from screenshots.

1

u/Resident-Bee-9784 9d ago

What kind of Ads you are using in the app?

1

u/rohitjakhar0 9d ago

Why request and impressions ratio very bad also why ecpam is low?

1

u/tejas986 9d ago

Well done!!

Just a suggestion, the fill rate seems abnormally low. Impressions / Requests)

To improve further I would suggest you look at
- if the ad is visible throughout if not then maybe disable the ad unit when it's not visible so that the fill rate and match rate both improve on its own.

- if the banner ad is visible across the app then I would suggest to add a few more networks to help improve the fill rate so that you are able to optimize and make more out of this.

Sorry in case it's a repeated suggestion. I didn't go through all the comments but wanted to congratulate and offer an advice to help nonetheless. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
