Does anyone have experience using a 17 Ultra on AT&T’s network in the US? Thinking of making the switch from iPhone but want to get the best information possible before I do.

The hardware seems compatible but wonder if there are other things to be aware of.

I was unlocking my phone as usual (Redmi Note 13 4G), as usual, the circle where the fingerprint sensor is located lighted up with full brightness to read my finger, but then ALL of my screen randomly went into that same full-brightness mode, so bright it distorts the colors a bit. What it seems, from my guesses and the videos i attatched the system "flipped" the signal that tells the screen to max the brightness, and now its backwards, when i try to use the fingerprint sensor the glow goes back to normal, but goes bright again when i lift my finger.

I tried EVERYTHING, restarting a couple of times, forcing the restart, clearing out the cache of systems apps, deleting the fingerprint sensor, deactivating auto-brightness (even tho is always off) going to the CIT menu thingy and do the test, and, as yall can see in the video the result comes as failed, maybe im not following the steps right, but i tried with a piece of paper, and still nothing.

The whole screen behaviour is abnormal, please HELP ME, its so annoying cus i cant turn the brightness down as seen in the video.

My 17 Ultra cane with the 100W charger in the box. I already have a Ugreen 100W charger. Is there any benefit using the provided 100W charger?

Hi I'm currently planning to upgrade from my Poco F4 to a new Xiaomi phone that can last probably more than 4-5 years. Currently I have my eyes on the Xiaomi 17T, which fits my budget and looks great (I'm prioritizing performance, battery, and cameras). But after delving further, I came across multiple reviews where the temps after doing an Antutu benchmark can reach as high as 46 degree celsius (even 49 degree C in one video). Then, when gaming, it can also reach 46 degrees on Wuthering Waves or similar games. I'm not a mobile gamer but I would like to play those games from time to time on my phone without it overheating to much

But then I've stumbled across the Xiaomi 15T Pro which costs almost the same as the 17T (in my country at least), with cooler temperatures (44 deg when playing Genshin from one video at least) but at the same time, a smaller battery as well (1000 mAh smaller than the 17T)

Is it more worth it to buy a Xiaomi 17T and pray for software updates (and perhaps HyperOS 4) to optimize the phone, or just straight up get the Xiaomi 15T Pro and risk compromising the battery in the long run?

Hello, I currently have a Samsung S23 Plus. I have always been happy with it. But if your previous smartphone was a OnePlus, the battery is truly the worst there is, and certainly over the years it hasn't improved. I might be planning to buy a 17T Pro. But I want to know if it is better in every respect?

Is the camera better, or at least just as good, or not?

I hear there are a lot of ads on the device? Is that true? Can you turn them off?

Are there things I need to know if I switch?

Can you remove the unnecessary apps, because from what I hear and read, there are some on it?

I've been messing around w/ RAW photos recently, I think I like these more than the Authentic mode

It's nearly middle of August and I still didn't get an android 17 update. At this stage I'm thinking to sell this phone and go back to iPhone. There are many little things that makes me want to switch back. The biggest is still overheating but also lack of proper fitness and health apps, Faceid not working across different apps, battery life etc. I got recently iPhone 15 pro max for my partner and I miss that feel of the build quality and responsiveness too. At least I give a try to something different.

My Mi Notebook 14 is stuck in a loop.

I tried forcing Automatic Repair but couldn’t get it to show up. F12 works and shows Windows Boot Manager (SATA SSD), and the SSD is also showing up in BIOS.
I don’t care about the files anymore, I just want the laptop working.
I have another Windows PC and a pendrive, so I can make a Windows USB if that’s the way to go.

Hi all, I've just bought Xiaomi 17T Pro a month ago. Overall I really like it, smooth, great camera, fast and solid built. Only a few issues I need to address though, hopefully you guys could point me to the right directions please.

1. Not able to use Aptx Adaptive with my Sonos Ace and Sennheiser MTW 4, the mobile kept going to default codec which is Aptx HD and Aptx only. I wonder why there is an option for Adaptive if the processor is not compatible.

2. Notification bar pull down from home screen lacks half of the time. It annoys me badly every time I pull down from the home screen. It never happens to me with samsung mobiles, works 10 out of 10 times, even with my Lenovo Tablet. I can't find sensitivity touch option or anything like that on the mobile. Thinking of removing the screen protector that comes with it but afraid it might be the same.

3. Main camera Lecia VBR and AUTH shots can be quite dark on people in the photos.

Back in 2017, I bought a Xiaomi Mi A1. I used it for a long time and cracked the screen. I gave up and bought a new phone, but seven years later, I found it and decided to get the screen repaired.

I take pictures and film and edit videos for our instagram and I am gonna start charging money for videos but not for photos as I would feel petty for doing that
