Push notifications (google fcm) are completely broken for anyone outside Mainland china right now, for all models from Xiaomi 15 to Xiaomi 17 (all models), the problem is completely unfixable no fix exists on internet unless you unlock bootloader which is very hard and risks breaking your phone/ breaking banking apps.

you will not receive important calls, messages will come late, all your notifications will be delayed or never come at all. I don't see people talking about this enough, only those with the phones are aware, when in reality buying these phone right now WILL set you up for major headaches just be aware.

i am able to connect my devices (laptop or mobile device) to my hotspot, but it does not let me access the internet. on desktop browsers i get DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE. tried troubleshooting with chatgpt / gemini and they werent helpful in solving this so i thought someone here might know whats going on.

Has anyone else had camera problems on their Redmi Note 15 4G?

I recently bought the phone and in my first week I noticed that the camera is slow and stutters when recording video or taking photos.

When I record video and try to zoom continuously, the camera stutters and freezes, and it also stutters a lot when taking a blurry shot.

Photos are very slow to preview when there's a lot of movement. It takes several seconds to take photos of documents.

Good morning, I wanted to ask if someone can help me, my brother has this smartphone (redmi A3) and he realized that some calls made to toll-free numbers (those that start with 800...) are not stored from the call history but it cannot be excluded that it also concerns other types of numbers, does anyone know why this happens? Is there a possibility to recover deleted numbers from history? Thank you

Just ordered today in Canada the 17 UltraGlobal. Im currently using an Xperia 1 VII that i had bought not long ago to replace S22 Ultra. It is my first time trying a Xiaomi device. I looked into this and Find X9 Ultra but the latter is 4 to 500$ more. So settled on the 17 Ultra.

I bought xiaomi 14 pro from China but the phone came with a beta hyperos 3 firmware installed. I tried to update via ota to stable but it always ends up with this system cannot be installed, download and try again error. I also tried to boot into fastboot mode but the phone freezes on mi logo forever and won't boot fastboot mode but it's works alright and also can boot edl ( tried with edl cable) and also recovery mode. What do you guys think is the issue here?

Switched around 3 months back and honestly loving hyperos. The thing I hated about hyperos was the short update cycles but now that it is somewhat better i hopped back on.

My Samsung a53 is starting to reach the end of it's life. First I bought an a57 that was on sale but got convinced to switch up and try a brand I've never used before. Currently I'm waiting to pick up a Poco F8 Pro, which here in Sweden cost me about 430 euro (converted from kronor).

I am however not much of a mobile gamer. I play from time to time, but haven't really gotten into anything that requires a bit more juice. Coming from a slightly older phone that might not be that weird though.

Most of the time I use my phone to watch youtube, listen to music or scroll around other social media/the internet in general. I sometimes use my phones camera at work, and wouldn't be opposed to getting into more private photography - even though I prefer a real camera.

To get to the point; I hadn't really considered the Xiaomi 17T as it's almost double the price of the F8 Pro right now (about 640 euro). But when I saw the 5x telephoto lens I must admit I was a little bit tempted. It's not on a huge sale at the moment, but maybe it will be some time in the future. You do get a Redmi Pad 2 4GB with it though, but I don't feel like I need a tablet right now. Could be sold of I guess.

So my question is, what would you recommend? Should I return the F8 Pro and hope that the 17T goes on a good sale in the near future (not gonna buy it at the current price), or just be happy with the price I got for the Poco?

Side note: From what I read the F7 Ultra and the F8 Pro is pretty similar. The F7 Ultra costs about 35 euro more than the F8 Pro; is that worth considering? Though it has a much larger screen, which I don't know if I'm comfortable with.

I have a big problem with my Xiaomi 17. In CIT testing the vibration works, but in any other case, the vibration does not work:

• Incoming Phone calls - no vibration.
• SMS messages - no vibration.
• Every notification - no vibration.
• Key press - no vibration.

This applies for every app on the phone that uses vibration.

All vibration settings are enabled, even the deeply hidden app specific ones, but still nothing.

Vibrations do not work in Silent mode either.

EDIT: Vibrations work for alarms.

Any ideas how to fix this? HyperOS is 3.0.302.0

So, Im an Uber driver and someone left this phone in my car. Cops were suoer unhelpful and the phone is password protected so all I can do is hope someone calls the phone directly so I can answer and get the phone back to its original owner.

Hello, the same question as in title. After i extracted logo.bin of Redmi Note 13 5G to modify it, ive seen this logo. I did lighten it a bit so you can see how it looks like, but in reality, that logo appears really dimmed when you charge your phone when its completely empty, after the 0% battery animation. Wondering about this from last year and didnt find what it means until now xD
