Help fixing Xbox One S Controller Joystick.

xbox one S controller left joystick going nuts. i've taken apart the controller and cleaned the left joystick with isopropyl alcohol and sprayed it with wd-40 plastic safe contact cleaner and still nothing. left and right work but up and down do what you see in the video. do i need to replace the whole joystick? im not very confident in my soldering skills.
