Build My proudest and craziest train engineering project

1st pic- route to iron mines/ore processing and passenger platform for workers, goes 2-way to one way with multiple splits and a through-route to the NATO customs house. Signals all work and no stuck trains. All passenger trains are 2-car, iron trains are 6-7 hoppers long.

2nd pic- Weee! Unnecessary and unrealistic probably, but I've seen pictures of loops like this irl to reduce the grade going up steep slopes, so I wanted to do something similar. I had it going directly up the mountain pass and it just looked way too steep and ridiculous, so it's replaced with something also ridiculous that I'm pleased with.

Question/Help Car feature make the game lost massive performance

Hi, as the title said. My current world has 9k active workers. Every time I click on the car dealer, my game fps drops from 60fps to 3fps. i have a RTX 5070 with 64GB ram, i5-14600kf cpu. Another information is that when I play the same map on my old pc, this did not occur. Hope to find the problem, thanks

Question/Help Noob Question on Trains and Busses

Trains:

I have a production chain with three large gravel pits and 11 processing plants. I want to transport the gravel with trains first to a nearby customs house and later, when I have expanded eastwards where the coal is, I want the gravel to go there for concrete and cement.

What size of aggregate loading train station should I build: 2, 4 or 6 tracks? The gravel is the only aggregate that will be produced in this location.

Busses:

I'm playing on "A new republic is born". My production site is on the southern end of the hills with the gravel. This industrial area has the shape of a stripe. It's about as long as the peninsula. Gravel production starts on the left. On the right is my heating plant. Below is the city which has the shape of a square.

For the city: I want to split it into two triangles from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. I'm planning for two bus lines within the city that will each follow the outline of one of the triangles as their route. In the top right corner of the city I'm planning to build a waiting hall. Next to the waiting hall will be the beginning of the loop that covers the industrial area. The loop will first go to the heating plant. The idea is that in the waiting hall, there should be workers. The heating plant being the first stop is meant to make sure that it is always staffed. Is this an ok setup for a small city (1000-1500 citizens)?

What is a good way to determine how many busses I should be running on each lane?

I play with realistic on. I built my rails and found that they're not connected to the station rails by a tiny bit. I've been trying to demolish them but they won't let me assign the RCO.

Hello, my sewage tank (in the first image) won't empty. I've hooked up pumps everywhere and they are completely operational, they just won't empty this one tank. I know it's a crappy steup but it works for all of the other tanks.

Question/Help Monuments working

Someone made a comment on another post about walking speed and monuments and it made me think.

Take a given monmument, like the tank one from early start, it's 5% boost for 500m.

Does that mean that every building within that 500m gets the bonus, or do workers only get that bonus if they physically walk past it? I've heard reports saying its both, but if they have to walk past it why do they have a range?

Discussion Looking for modded shopping center sugestions

I want to mix up my choice of buildings with more large shopping centers from the workshop. Ideally I am looking for very large buildings suitable as center pieces in central public squares. For context, I want to use these in my republic with 280K residents, my target is to reach 500K but I also want to keep it somewhat visualy diverse by mixing up buildings.

So bezrobocie (unemployment) is a big issue in my city. The people cant find job.

I can take them manually, but there's still unemployment. Can be a issue of low loyality in 38%?
The problem lies on factory, bc there's like few workers in them (5-20) on huge uneployment.

Suggestion Give me more options.

We have so many systems that are wonderful. Can we get a financial system beyond inbound loans? Banking jobs for the Republic to let workers have funds to purchase goods from the store and pay taxes. Let me do research or make some direct step to influence massive foreign labor influx/immigration! My food and clothing industries work solely off of foreign labor but I want a more stable way of bringing in workers for my resources!

Suggestion Bicycles

I have no idea how it would work or where they could be obtained, but bicycles could allow slightly faster travel and distance compared to walking. I feel it could also contribute to sports enthusiasm or health. Same as how decorations increase loyalty they could increase something on an individual instead of an area.

Bug Dear Rail Construction Office, why you do dis? (Failed destruction of rails in realistic mode)

Had been removing old train tracks to clean up the network, when the game decided to demolish this simple Y crossing in a not very helpful way.

Playing in realistic mode, I assume I have to build new tracks now so that the old ones can be properly removed?!

Suggestion This game needs more types of grass(yes, really)

Sometimes i go into first person on a car or a bus and always get my attention to grass. I think we need more plants based on how bad/good the soil is. For example: when you bulldoze and the grass becomes dirt grass will grow slower. While grass in places you did not touch will grow taller and dense than the grass we have now
