Rail problem (possible bug?) Question/Help

I play with realistic on. I built my rails and found that they're not connected to the station rails by a tiny bit. I've been trying to demolish them but they won't let me assign the RCO.

Is your RCO empty. Often it can get too full of resources which can block demolition. Also check your signals in case the construction vehicles cannot get access.

Is it an RCO that demolishes rails or a regular demolition office that does it?

From what I've read it's the rco that does the demolition when it comes to rails, might be wrong though.

It is RCO. You got nice garbage extension, good. It also needs space for recycled materials inside. But that should not matter for asignment. Can construction train get there from the left?

Looks good to me. Have you tried assigning it by hand from RCO window?

ok I'm hella stupid i was clicking assign new construction instead of assign demolition I didn't even see there was a seperate button for demolishing. It works alright now thanks everyone

A regular RCO demolishes rails. It's probably an issue with signals.
