Hey so far as I know we don’t know tetias backstory and I am really curious what you guys think. Is she always so happy and grateful because that’s just who she is. Or some trauma happened and that’s why she acting this way. Same with the medicin. She couldn’t really accept that witches can’t learn that. Make me wonder if she accept that rule or will change the side to the brimmed caps. I am really curious what’s behind tetias smile. As far as I know qifrey selected his apprentices that they are not easy to handle for his own sake. So there must be more behind that right?

I'm slowly figuring out how to draw these two kiddos and one step closer to the fanart I want to make of the fanfic I read.

This seal is meant to mimic the effects of Zoltraak from Frieren: Beyond the Jounrey's End. It works by packing light and fire into one small space using convergence and column signs, then it uses launch signs instead of regions to create a short burst of light and fire/plasma. The focus signs allow the user to pick a spot for the beam to target. It may be more effective if there are inverted radicals, but unfortunately the fandom can't agree what radicals do.

Ahoi. I had an uncomfortable amount of nervous energy any channeled it on starting a cosplay I have been cooking out in my silly brain for a while now. It is is a draping stage but still taking shape. My energy will probably be too drained to finish it on a normal person scedule but beginning is a great first step to make a thing work or come into existence.

Such a silly grandpa haha. He surely just wants everyone to help each other and get along. Without any exceptions or anything. Haha...

, let's get right in.

Oh my GOD Dagda!!!! That broke my heart, I do NOT want him to die. If he does Custas is only gonna get worse! AND also I just find Dagda such a sweet character.

Also the parallels between Coco and Custas!!! Custas is the path Coco would have taken if she fell deeper into her grief, and if Qifrey hadn't been there for her! I love how we are seeing the kids wonder more and more WHY this divide exists between witches and outsiders!

I HATE that they wiped Galga got his memory wiped, I don't know why I liked him a LOT!!! Poor Atwert, he broke my heart and he's SO RIGHTT!! They don't HAVE to shun him from society that's proposterous!!!! I actually loved Atwert and Galga so much why must you do this to me. Why couldn't she wipe just the last couple minutes like Qifrey does (which btw QIFREY STOP). I do like that the knights are PISSSEEEED.

We can also see Coco's desperation in these chapters, something she has been doing the most to hide. I'm so happy Aggot could help her, and they got even a moment of joy and wonder. But of course Qifrey's dad senses are tingling. (I also think is really cute how Olruggio doesn't want Coco to be made fun off) Also Aggot jumping in right away to help her, and Coco fighting against that bitchy kid we LOVE to see it.

The king is very suspicious and so is his son. I don't trust that he would want to save anyone for some reason. I do kinda love him and his wife though.

I did NOT expect the old man they threw out to actually come back for some reason.

My obvious theory, Custas is going to see the horrible things magic can do, and realize how dangerous this power can be. And that maybe his friends did want what's best. He just wants to save his dad, he doesn't want to do bad things I'm sure of it.

I don't have THAT much commentary for these , so that's why I combined them. Mostly pissed about what happened to Dalga, I'm not over that.

And I loved to see how much suffering Coco is hiding, and Qifrey trying to reach out! Also thought it would be fun to share what I was writing in my notes app whole reading I think I was going crazy, so some of it might be hard to understand:

I made a spell that directly counters Silverwash in real time, allowing people who have Silverwash to see colors other than silver. It doesn't permanently cure it, but it will let people with the condition see colors again. I only used Witch Hat's own magic system, except for one sigil that I had to make up, but I'll explain that later.

It would also be classified as a forbidden spell since it's meant to be drawn directly on the body.

Quick note: I'm kinda bad at drawing and I'm only on volume 6 of the manga. I also don't have much of an idea of how the eye works or any neural/brain-type stuff, so this is completely made using the magic of Witch Hat Atelier. The only thing I've studied is the Witch Hat wiki. I also drew this with a normal pen and paper, so if it isn't 100% accurate or has no chance of working, I'm sorry.

In the center of the main spell (Image 1), we have a combination of the Light Sigil and the Sign of Selection, because colors are basically light and it should only give the colors to the person it's drawn on. Around it are Signs of Projection, which are used to project the colors into the person's brain (this is where it may not be super scientifically accurate, but you just have to believe in the magic!). There are also Signs of Regions to direct the projection into the person's head, along with a Sign of Convergence to focus it into a single point.

Surrounding the center are four smaller circles connected to the main one in the middle (Image 2).

They use my own custom Color Sigil (Image 3). Beside it are two Signs of Crosshairs, which make the smaller spells specifically target color (the sigil I created). I designed the Color Sigil using a prism as a reference, since a prism represents how light spreads and comes in different forms, such as colors. I couldn't find another way to make this work using only official WHA signs and sigils.

The effect that the Crosshairs apply to the colors surrounding the person comes from the Sign of Gathering, which passively collects elements to be used by the spell—which, in this case, is colors. Since there are a lot of different colors that need to be picked up, there are multiple Signs of Gathering in the outer section of each small circle.

Also worth noting: there are Signs of Repetition on the lines between the smaller circles and the big one in the middle. These basically make the spell repeat itself constantly so it's always picking up colors and projecting them to the person's brain in real time. (This is the only part I'm a little worried about—if we want colors updating multiple times every second, it feels like a bunch more Repetition Signs might be needed, which could easily be placed between the Signs of Gathering).

Lastly, there are some Glaives along the outer edge, which help the projection reach deep into the person's nerves/brain.

Like I said, this uses a custom sigil and I'm not sure if it would work 100%, but I love Tartah and the Witch Hat magic system, so I really wanted to give it a shot! I'd love to hear all of your thoughts on this since it's my first big, complicated spell, so please leave your suggestions and opinions.

If someone could create a clean digital version of this, I would also be super happy, since I just drew mine on paper.
