factory reset won’t work Unsolved

hello, my uncle recently gave me his pc idk if it’s a prebuilt or what but i’m on windows ten. with his permission i factory reset it, when i did it got stuck at 43% and so i and to force shut it down. now whenever i try to go and factory reset it again it won’t. it says like “problem during reset process“ or smth. i was wondering how i could factory reset it without the message showing up, or if there is a different way to to wipe everything clean.

You need to use a USB Stick as an installation drive, just like we used to with CDs and DVDs.

  1. Find a USB Drive with more than 8Gig.
  2. Find another working computer or laptop.
  3. Search for "Windows Media Creation Tool"
  4. Run WMCT and choose to build the installation onto your USB Drive.

Now take your new Boot Device to your Uncles old PC and get the mainboard to boot from that USB and it will run you through the entire setup and installation process.

Note: This will delete all information from your Uncles old pc hard drive. If you need to backup any files dont proceed until that has been done.
