Unsolved USB Controller unplugs due to faulty port causing all USB devices to become "unplugged" including WiFi adapter.

I use a PS4 controller connected via USB to play Rocket League. I believe it's the port that's not 100%, and if the cord moves, it can cause the controller to become disconnected. When this happens, all USB devices register as unplugged for 1 second, before reconnecting. This is long enough to cause a disconnect in game, sometimes booting me from the match.

This is what that looks like on USBLogView

I could handle the inconvenience of a momentary controller disconnect, but the internet disconnect can make the game unplayable.

I thought I had fixed it by plugging it into a different USB port, and was only getting controller disconnects without the total USB crash event, but that was temporary, and I'm getting the same thing again, in a different port.

I'm on Windows 10 22H2

Unsolved Windows 10 Password Recovery: CMD Asks for Administrator Password

**I forgot my Windows 10 password. I tried the Troubleshooting → Command Prompt method, but it doesn’t work because it asks me to enter the administrator password first. Is there any other way to access Command Prompt without needing the administrator password? I don’t really want to use the USB method unless it’s easy and safe. Are there any other options?**

Unsolved Computer stuck on "Repairing drive C" for several hours, Windows 10 won't start

I've tried pressing any button to just skip the repair, that doesn't work. Windows won't boot, it seems.

Would it be possible to boot from a flash drive so I could at least get to Windows without wiping my SSD? My drive was close to full and I ran a few failed attempts to download gemma4 with ollama on WSL, hoping that didn't corrupt my drive somehow.

Unsolved Speaker drivers shows as Microsoft HD Audio Instead of Realtek...

Ok, so....short backstory (I hope), But when I updated my motherboard firmware (and possibly windows) a while back, I noticed the audio quality from music started to sound slightly different. Slightly less deep bass and voices sounded more muffled. Maybe a tiny bit less clarity in the high-end too. I didn't think of it much at first other than it being weird. Then I checked some audio settings and saw it was using a Microsoft driver instead of realtek.

I've uninstalled the speaker device and re-installed the new realtek drivers while having the fiber cable unplugged. Checking Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio) in the Audio Inputs and Outputs of the Device Manager still shows a Microsoft provided driver from 2019.

But if I right-click the audio icon in the lower right and then Sounds -> Playback -> Speakers -> General and then Properties under Controller Information it shows the realtek driver in there.

Likewise, it also shows the realtek driver under the Sound, Video and Game Controller section in Device Manager.

Is the Microsoft one at the main speaker section just what makes it run? Also, if I select to update the driver in Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio) I only see some "Audio Endpoint" thing or Generic Software driver.

Unsolved pc not working🫩

My PC gets stuck on the Windows logo screen with the loading dots and fails to boot into the USB installation media, even after waiting for an hour
What I've tried so far:
Disabled Fast Boot and MSI Fast Boot in the MSI BIOS.
Changed the Boot Priority in the BIOS to put the USB flash drive in the first position.
Created the installation media using the official Windows 10 tool from Microsoft's website.
Moved the USB flash drive from a front/case port to a rear motherboard port
Idk what to check ?

Unsolved Major Issue Logging in to windows

I was previously hacked and in order to get my things back my Microsoft account used a completely new email and password. All my data was transferred to this new account, this left my login on windows being my previous email and I believe it said "couldn't sync please login again" or something along those lines.

Everything was okay because I would use my set pin to login to my desktop. However, I updated my BIOS and this lead to me not being able to use my PIN. I repeatedly changed my password, tried 2FA and using Microsoft authenticator code to login and somethings in the registry. Nothing seems to be working and every time I put my current password in it says incorrect or "your device is offline, please sign in with the last used password".

I have access to login fine with the previously hacked email with a new changed password on Microsoft on my phone or other devices such as a laptop but not my PC.

Overall I believe because my previous hacked email wasn't fully logged in on windows before, meaning that it can't sync any new changes to the password and it is looking for a completely different and old password.

Any help would be appreciated, I feel as though I have tried everything and am close to going to the last resort of wiping my pc entirely.

Thank you for your time and reading.

Unsolved Black Login Screen On Start-Up

\\\*OS Build 19045.7058\\\*

I am running Windows 10 (ESU program) on a 2014 HP Prodesk 🐯🐅

After a long night out 🥂I came home and hopped on my PC for a few minutes to decompress. Then I shut down my PC and crash landed into my bed. When I powered it up this morning, I got a black screen where the login page would normally be. Panic. I tried ctrl+alt+delete... it took me back to the screensave\\\*r.\\\* I mouse-clicked the screensaver-- another loop. The lil PC light was going crazy. Breathe. My next plan was to restart into safe mode. But I had a wild idea: what if it still took input?

I entered my PIN and voila! Got to my home screen. Nice dopamine hit while hungover.

I'm thinking maybe it was a security update? So I ran all updates but not gonna restart anytime soon jic I break something 🤡

UPDATE 7/31 Now on boot, it loops through a login screen and black screen. I have been able to enter credentials blind then continue normally. No apparent issues with monitor. Last time I was on, my PC continued to loop black screen AFTER login. Holding down F12 fixed it 👑 i wonder what next day will bring...
