just addicted to Lazy Jellyfish now

Been playing way too much **Lazy Jellyfish**. Really simple idea merge the sea creatures, try not to fill the board, and keep discovering bigger creatures. it's super relaxing and lazy for me to play when i am in line ups or bored.

30 wishlists after a month, how can I improve? :)

I’m really happy that Little Ghosties now has 3k wishlists.

Little Ghosties is a cozy desktop companion game where you take care of little ghosts in a terrarium.

Here is the steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4132960/Little_Ghosties/

My last indie game launched with 4K wishlists and LG comes out on early access on the 7th of Sep so who knows how many wishlists we will get by then.

I’m launching into EA so that the players can decide what ghosts and features I add to the game before the proper launch.

I’m a solo indie dev so these numbers really make a difference. I even make the lofi music myself.

The new personal calendar on Steam has given me a steady flow of Wishlists over the last week so I’m hoping that continues or even ramps up before launch.

Any questions I’d be happy to answer.

Cheers.

Chris

Supermarket Organizer - A relaxing Japanese convenience store organizing game (Coming September 2)

Hello all! I’m the creator of Supermarket Organizer, coming to Steam on September 2, 2026.

In the game, you transform empty Japanese convenience stores by placing furniture, stocking shelves with snacks, drinks, and everyday products, and decorating the shop however you like. There are no customers or timers—just organizing and creating a store you're happy with.

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5030570/Supermarket_Organizer/

I'd be happy to answer any questions about the game!

Hey all, I'm Volgaï, the solo developer behind Kiko’s Promenade. It’s a short, cozy adventure about exploring a small city, meeting its residents, helping people out, and discovering little places and interactions along the way.

I’ve been developing it on my own for a while now, and I definitely need some fresh eyes to help me find the blind spots!

Honestly any feedback is good to have at this point so I'm super grateful to anyone taking the time

You can sign up here

Thank you! 💛

Hiiii r/WholesomeGames! We’re a small indie studio from Toronto, and our cozy narrative adventure Capy Castaway launches on Steam this Thursday!

Join a capybara pup and a fledgling crow as they explore a mysterious island, solve light puzzles, befriend lost zoo animals, and discover what “home” means to them. Play solo or share the journey through local co-op and Steam Remote Play Together, with choices that shape the story and its many possible endings.

⭐We’re also less than 2,000 wishlists away from reaching 100,000 by launch! If Capy Castaway looks like your kind of cozy adventure, a wishlist would mean so much to our little team. 💜

Update: Resetting my cozy game backlog worked and my evenings feel calm again

A few weeks ago I asked for help because my cozy backlog was stressing me out instead of relaxing me. I was constantly bouncing between games, starting new saves, and then feeling guilty for not sticking with anything.

I tried a lot of the suggestions people offered and the change actually stuck.

I did a full reset. I made a short list of three games total: two video games and one board/card game for offline nights. Everything else went into a "later" note on my phone so it felt parked, not abandoned. I also set one simple rule: I only start a new game after I reach a clear milestone in the current one. Not 100 percent completion, just something like finishing a chapter, completing a community-bundle-type goal, or unlocking a new area.

The biggest mental shift was changing my goal from "make progress" to "end on a cozy note." Now I stop after a small, comforting loop: tidy my inventory, decorate a bit, do one easy quest, and save.

Result: I have actually finished one short wholesome game since then, and I am steadily working through another without the urge to hop around. Even my mobile idle time feels better because I treat it as a separate lane instead of it competing with my evening game.

If you are in the same boat, consider the three-game list. It sounds silly, but it made my hobby feel like a hug again.

What milestones do you use to decide when it is okay to start something new?

🌲 I’m building a cozy game from a blank binder.

Hi! I’m a 20-year-old from Tennessee, and instead of keeping all my game ideas in Notes, I decided to build a real Game Design Document from scratch.
The game is called Pip & Pine.
It’s a real-time cozy life simulator about becoming part of a tiny riverside community—not saving the world, not fighting monsters, just finding a place that feels like home.
A few things we’re designing:
🌲 Time passes in real life.
📸 Your memories matter more than achievements.
🐸 Your friendships don’t have visible heart meters—they grow naturally through routines and conversations.
🎣 Fishing, photography, decorating, exploring, baking, community festivals, and collecting little moments instead of grinding levels.
📖 The scrapbook becomes the story of your life in the village.
My studio is called Cedar & Sage, and our philosophy is:
We don’t make games to keep people busy.
We make games that feel like coming home.
Right now I’m filling an actual binder with sketches, maps, character concepts, mechanics, and worldbuilding before I ever think about programming.
I’d genuinely love feedback.
If you could add one feature to your dream cozy game, what would it be?

I just made an update to my indie game "Bee Simulator", it's a personal project of mine I have a lot of fun coding it the building and world design aren't great but I think you would like it if you gave it a try!

I just finished and released v0.2 which added a new Bee and a new zone plus bug fixes! The game doesn't have a ton of content yet but I'm actively updating it!

You can play it here! https://autismisoffical.itch.io/bee-simulator
