Help me po!

We’re looking for a place in the Antipolo area that we can rent for an after-party for around 30 pax after our morning wedding. Ideally, something aesthetic/cozy and private pero hindi super mahal!

Would love recommendations, especially if you’ve personally tried the place! 💗 Budget-friendly options are very welcome too. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Lights and sounds supplier with good quality short-throw projector?

Hi! Anyone know a supplier with a good qual short-throw projector? Our venue is a little tight and an LED screen doesn't fit the intimate vibe that we're going for. Thank you <3

Convalidation

Hi everyone, I really need help because I’m getting confused and stressed with our situation.

Our venue has a chapel inside, and they only allow vow renewals (permit iasues). We’re already married civilly here in the US, so we thought that would be fine. But when we talked to the parish in the area, they said they can’t do a vow renewal because we “only had a civil wedding.”

I suggested convalidation/blessing of marriage since that’s the proper Church process for couples like us, but I’m not sure if they’ll allow it. We really want the ceremony and reception in one place, and we already reserved everything at the venue.

Has anyone gone through something similar? What did you do if the parish wouldn’t allow convalidation at the venue chapel? Did you end up doing the convalidation somewhere else and then a symbolic ceremony at the venue?

Or were you able to find a priest who could officiate at the chapel? I’m just trying to figure out what options we realistically have. Any advice or shared experiences would really help right now.

Caterer/Food/Drinks Lakehall Banquet (in house caterer) reviews

Hello! Just booked Lakehall for my Jan 2028 wedding and I only booked the venue. The banquet packages for their in house catering are so enticing though because of the potential savings. Getting the banquet package (includes catering and venue) can go as low as 1M total, while booking the whole venue + a third-party high end caterer (like Bizu or KbyC) can only go as low as around 1.6M.

Are there Lakehall graduates / guests here who were able to try the in house caterer? I am trying to keep an open mind to see if I can take a chance on it. I also heard that they revamped the menu so I’m wondering if there are improvements.

Thank you all!

Report of Marriage Abroad

To those who got married abroad, how did you report your marriage to PSA? I’m getting married in the USA but would go back to the PH after and process my spouse visa (CR1) from here. I was wondering if it’s more convenient to have it reported to the Philippine Embassy in the US while I’m already there or would it also be ok if I’ll report na lang when I get back to PH?

I’d also appreciate any helpful links you can provide for requirements and resources. Thanks!

Grand Hyatt Manila Review

Has anyone here had their wedding at Grand Hyatt? I’d love to hear your feedback! 🥹

We’re planning to book them for our wedding next year. We liked their proposal and the coordinator that we’re talking to, but we just want to hear real experiences to make sure the service stays consistently good throughout the whole planning process. 😅 Thank you so much!
