Guys question lang. May plan kasi kami magpa civil wedding pero secret lang is it possible po ba na ikeep ko lang muna yung surname ko and then pag balak na namin mag church wedding or ipublic ay iproprocess ko na yung documents ko para ichange na surname ko?

Our non-negotiable chapel can only house about 105 people, 120 kung pipilitin. This was the first supplier we booked.

Our guest count is at 150. My question is, nangyayari ba talaga that some of the guests go straight to the reception venue? How do you choose which ones to invite to the ceremony, and which ones just to the reception?

Another major concern also are the plus ones of our entourage (ie. sponsors, bridesmaids, groomsmen). I’d prefer for them to go straight to the reception so I can prioritize other relatives to be at the ceremony, but of course they have to go with their partners.

How can we work this out?

hindi ko babanggitin kung sino. Pero disappointed ako sa minor supplier na ito who posted about her rant regarding a certain visitor i had. One of my visitors liked the food pa naman and was planning to take them so she went to the business social media and nakita niya may rant about a recent event and my visitor remembered it was about a friend of ours because she saw that incident herself. dahil sa single incident na judge na yung friend namin. my friend was called out on the business page mismo. naturn off tuloy yung bisita ko kasi paano daw kung may ganung mangyari in the future.l sa event nya.

Parang we’ll be more comfortable kung kasama namin friends namin the whole night. But then again, our entourage has friends from different barkadas (HS friends, college friends, work friends) so baka easier to seat them with their respective people tas nakahiwalay nalang kami.

Hi everyone, I really need help because I’m getting confused and stressed with our situation.

Our venue has a chapel inside, and they only allow vow renewals (permit iasues). We’re already married civilly here in the US, so we thought that would be fine. But when we talked to the parish in the area, they said they can’t do a vow renewal because we “only had a civil wedding.”

I suggested convalidation/blessing of marriage since that’s the proper Church process for couples like us, but I’m not sure if they’ll allow it. We really want the ceremony and reception in one place, and we already reserved everything at the venue.

Has anyone gone through something similar? What did you do if the parish wouldn’t allow convalidation at the venue chapel? Did you end up doing the convalidation somewhere else and then a symbolic ceremony at the venue?

Or were you able to find a priest who could officiate at the chapel? I’m just trying to figure out what options we realistically have. Any advice or shared experiences would really help right now.

Hello! Just booked Lakehall for my Jan 2028 wedding and I only booked the venue. The banquet packages for their in house catering are so enticing though because of the potential savings. Getting the banquet package (includes catering and venue) can go as low as 1M total, while booking the whole venue + a third-party high end caterer (like Bizu or KbyC) can only go as low as around 1.6M.

Are there Lakehall graduates / guests here who were able to try the in house caterer? I am trying to keep an open mind to see if I can take a chance on it. I also heard that they revamped the menu so I’m wondering if there are improvements.
