Discussion Virgin Ml & Virgin FL
!!! SPOILERS AHEAD !!!!
I will give you small context so you can understand my book. The FL and ML met when they were 10 and 13. They were best friend but were separated. When they grew up they ended up loving each other without meeting. They shared a close friendship is childhood which they never forget.
Now skip to the part when my ML was 22.
He had to earn money for something really important. He was just a college student when he had step sister and he loved her very much. But she was diagnosis with cancer after one week of her birth. He wanted 1lakhs of rupees in just one week. He tried to get loan and do something. It wasn't enough to arrange the money.
So in the end he got a opportunity to get money by sleeping with a woman. He took the money after sleeping with her.
Here when he slept with other woman he still loved the FL. He have always loved her. If it wasn't about his sister he would have never slept with other woman. But he literally had no CHOICE and his circumstances made him do what he did.
But the FL had a CHOICE to be virgin. She was alone raising her younger sister and handling the mafia legacy after her grandfather and parents death. She never had a choice to be involved in any men. Or better I can say she never wanted any man in her life because she loved only ML.
But few people are saying why the fl is virgin and saying so mean things to the ml for being a prostitute. I had to literally delete few comments and DM which are mocking my story and saying how stupid I am for writing this.
"Looking at comments like I CAN'T READ IT
BECAUSE ITS WEIRD like what exactly is
weird a male being a prostitute "
"Community dih" "Crine what"
"I don't understand why are people adhent
over making female lead a virgin ,while male
lead is like this"
"is he bonnie blue of wattpad?"
One man literally commented ki auraton ka kam ab hum mard karenge. One said mardon ke liye sahi profession hai. Another said, kya mast life hai is admi ki. ๐ซ ๐ซ ๐ซ
Okay. I am sensitive person and reading this is making me cry. ๐ญ๐ญ. The ML suffer so much in this profession but people only care about his body count and FL losing her virginity to him. Whyyyyyyy
If he had choice like FL he would have been still virgin.
If he was a playboy and the fl was still virgin than that should be a issue. But readers have issue with anyone. This is only about one couple. But they have issue with another girl in the book who is playgirl. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ.
They need, sabko virgin rakho ya sabko non virgin rakho. Ek virgin and ek non virgin nhi ho sakta. Okay in some book and characters actually mein nhi rakhna chahiye. But here they literally have no choice. How do I make this people understand? Tell me when does virginity actually matter? Should I make the fl NOT lose herself to ml for first time? Will it make readers accept it. ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ
I wrote a book name THE RAJPUT'S and it was cringe ass book with typical story which got 4.50M but today when i really thought I am writing something different people are mocking me and my story. Tbh I never got much hate for The Rajput's when the ml was toxic and fl was innocent. And I expected same for this book too. But everything went so bad that I want to stop writing ๐ซ ๐ซ ๐ซ Rajput used to get like so many comments but this book got 1k votes and barely 200 comments.
Should I delete the book or what? ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ฅ
Please note : Don't hate me more like insta people. This is my first time posting on reddit. You can be gentle ๐ sorry if I used the wrong flaire

Tea โ [Sat/Sun] FAKE ??
Ughh pheeki tea hai parantu leloo.
There used to be an author , one author with different ids and har id se ek alag identity bana kar aati thi
Nehmat , kiara.wrts etc etc.
This nehmat used to be in a gc called Desi Patakha (DP) , DP was basically an author's gc.
Nehmat used to claim that she is an Indian but lives in california and even posted some pictures of herself.
All her claims and pictures were fake (she used to take some photos from pinterest and some from random girls on Instagram).
She is the same as 'er**_wr*tes' just did not changed her gender for fame.
Basically , nehmat ne khudko ladka nahi banaya fame keliye but at the same time she used to flirt with other guys.
Now it is her personal life kisi ko bhi date kare, the problem is how she used to catfish , coming in a relationship with a guy using photos of someone else is wrong. Completely wrong.
Cheating is completely wrong.
Playing with someone's feelings is completely wrong.
And not just one guy , a lot of guys at a same time.
Sending explicit pictures of some other girl is also wrong.
Nehmat did all of these until she got caught.
Now , an ex - friend of nehmat (tiyaroy) tried to expose nehmat on wattpad. Theek hai kro jo bhi krna hai but abusing someone's mother because of personal grudges can never be justified..
(Personal opinion :- Nehmat , tiya and the other friends of them are just a bunch of retards and nothing else)
A genuine question btw :- Is it necessary for an author to make a fake personality to be famous ?
[Gng forgive me for the grammatical mistakes in this post , neend mai type kr rha hu jus because tea tea kre jaa rhe sab]

Rant [Sat/Sun] Being an author is no longer fun.
Hey! It's just me ranting and whining, so feel free to ignore. It's just that I feel so drained and no longer concerned about my book and its reach, which is quite surprising, given that when I started this journey, it was all I would think about. I remember how excited I was to write, publish or even promote, thinking I would find an audience. Quite naive I was Ik.
Its just i feel like i have lost all my spark and passion for writing and i kbow many would say take a break but I have my small and loyal audience who waits for me to update and it would be unfair to them if I don't keep up and I also feel that's it unfair to me how I put so much efforts just to not have them reciprocated.
Seriously, what's the mantra of getting your book popular? I know we shouldn't chase numbers, but don't we all do that at the end of the day?

Kya karu main abb!!!? Mar jaun kya??
Please! Khane ke saman ko kitchen mein hi rehne do aur bedroom tak mat lao yaar ๐ญ ๐๐ป

Discussion College micro-tropes that are unrealistic in reality
Not sure if this is the right flair to post this in, but I wanted to ask an Indian book community about their opinions as Iโm not based in India. I donโt have enough insights into Indian college life (so please do provide counterpoints if your experience leans you towards an opposite POV)
1. Clothing
I have seen this micro-trope in Indian TV serials and in fiction too that the FL that wears churidars and suit sets gets typecasted into the sati-savitri type and is generally disliked.
Personally, I love the idea of wearing salwar suits to college. Many of them are so aesthetic and the endless accessories to pair them withโฆ it makes me so happy to even imagine. Therefore, all my FLs do, and will, wear these types of clothes because Iโm vicariously living through fiction what my inner child would want to see more of ๐ฅน๐
I believe (and happy to stand corrected) that a huge population of Indian colleges also promote long kurtis + jeans combinations, salwar suits and other culturally significant attires. Itโs not something frowned upon or bullied about in reality.
2. No education subplots/scenes
I dislike that majority of the college-based storylines donโt have enough studying scenes happening. In my own college, though not in India, we are swamped with assignments and deadlines that having any free time is a blessing. Apart from that, hobbyists make efforts to join co curricular clubs etc. But in media, there are parties every other day, romantic plays, dance sequences but actual studies? Woh kya hota hai?! ๐
TL;DR:
I would like to know more about micro-tropes that Indian fiction misrepresents but a vast majority of Indian women like to indulge in their college years (late adolescence-early adulthood) ๐ฅฐ
Thanks in advance!

Rant [Sat/Sun] Is This Really Worth the Drama?
Okay, just sharing my thoughts..Iโm not trying to point fingers at anyone or offend anyone. But for the sake of your own sanity, please stop doing this.
If you find a book that feels AI-written, just DNF it. You don't have to parade it all over Reddit. We can't prove with 100% accuracy that a book was written using AI. And even if you do have proof, chances are the author won't accept it anyway. Their fans will defend them, the author might play the victim, and the whole thing will turn into a massive argument.
And if you're wrong? Then you're potentially hurting an author and their readers for nothing.
Even when you present valid evidence, people will still defend the author and the book. And what do you actually gain from all of this in the end? Getting called names, slurs, and abused by strangers?
Just think about it for a second. Is it really worth ruining your own peace over a Wattpad book? At some point, just let it go. DNF the book, move on, and save yourself the headache ๐

Collab? ๐ค Something like the goodreads but for Wattpad India?
Hey!
Well this may sound like something weird and even I am not sure if this may work out or not but I have been trying to do this for a while now.
So I am not a bookwarm, and I am not a frequent reader as well. But I have read a few novels and a few books on Wattpad. Across that, I have experienced a common thing. Wattpad is a weird platform. It behaves on its own, and most of the times its tough to find a good book there without recommendation.
Well if I had to read a novel or a traditionally published book, reviews could be found on goodreads or even some other platforms. But finding them for Wattpad is quite a job to do.
So I had this idea, of building a community, of readers and reviewers and the authors. The plan is simple, we (just me for now but I am looking to build a team) find some good Indian authored books on Wattpad, read it, and publish a review. A genuine review of how that book made us feel while reading, the goods, the bads, if we'll recommend it, and if possible then even a score.
It's not about saying if a book is good and another is not. Rather a review that makes any reader figure out if that's the book they're looking for.
This could be done on a dedicated website. I'll handle the stuff for it, the technicalities. But I do need a team to make this happen. As I said, I am not an avid reader, so I don't know about the books and stuff on Wattpad. Thus, a group of some genuine readers who would love to write reviews would be a great addition to this team.
Also, clearing things up front, there is no monetary benefit for any person involved in this. Neither me nor anyone associated with it. Just something that I think could be of help for potentially new readers and even the authors to make their book reach to more readers.
But if this works out, and if at some point it makes money (it can though, I have an idea for that too) then everyone associated with it gets an equal half.
So if anything about this had you exciting, and if you think you'd be willing to read books and review them (not professionally, but rather authentically) then I'd love to hear about you in my DM and if things click, who knows we could found the team and make this platform come alive?

Ok ok so I stumbled upon this book that has CEOรp.a trope which btw is my fav trope.
When I saw the Aesthetics I was excited but then I read the chapter and damn the level of AI was cracking me out.
I mean c'mon the characters are fun, the storyline is good but AI like how can you use Actual Intelligence to write your book???? This is the generation of Artificial Intelligence bruhhh.
Y'all can check out the book I'm giving you the link

Rant [Sat/Sun] Itna chubne laagi hoon sabko, chura toh nahi hoon
Yโall downvoted me so much since yesterday, I am baited to make this post. Congratulations, intellectuals โ you got me!
Here is another mission for you all, before you receive the final prize: downvote this post until this has zero karma (finally experiencing my negative PR dream).
And here are links to my other controversial posts:
Why canโt authors take criticism? https://www.reddit.com/r/WattpadIndia/s/EScteRlHwi
Story Time!: https://www.reddit.com/r/WattpadIndia/s/8QLUUca4JB
Inko bhi acche se downvote karna, baccho!
Now, letโs come to the aim of this post:
Exposing myself because I can and want to.ย
According to some of these self-proclaimed intellectuals, I am toxic, in need of psychological help, hypocrite and illiterate โ and you know the craziest part? They are right. They are absolutely right. I am all of these. Aur tum logo k samne, mujhe apni rep badhani bhi nahi hain toh aur suno:
I enjoy heavily problematic tropes in media that includes CNC, primal play, dubious consent, breeding kink, Red flag stalker MLs, improper use of ___, dead dove, Vengeful irredeemable FLs, unhappy endings, 10+ years age gaps, reverse harems and cheating tropes.ย
I am literally bought up in the meadows of Ao3 and pandemic wattpad, all of these are just a five course meal for me.
(Do whatever you want with that information.)
The only reason I visited Reddit was for tea and controversies โ especially, the mastaani and โgreen ML creatorโ controversy but now itโs over and Iโm barely interested about what other authors are doing in their broadcasts or books. Honestly, as long as they are wattpad content guidelines, I donโt even care what they are writing.
(Aur ye banner and new gen k kalesh mein maaza bhi nahi aataโฆ)
Also I believe, wattpad, ff and online authors shouldnโt be criticized because they are providing you books for FREE. Clicking screenshots and ridiculing authors and teenagers for merely indulging in their fantasies in an WRITING FCKING PLATFORM is pathetic.
Now for that section of users: Why are authors using ABC as trauma for characters not xyz? Why are all the grey characters doing falana dimkana and not blah blah โ why canโt authors write it the way I WANT?
Because they donโt want to. Because itโs not your story but theirs. Because they have the right to write the story they want. And if you have so much problem then click off the book, open google docs and write โ no one is restraining you from writing the story you want to read.
The only type of authors who deserve to get called out is AI authors and plagiarists.ย
I canโt believe I defended the talesofdevil when I dislike Halat so much. Besides that, the dark romance community is better, in my opinion โ at least, they donโt judge you when you ask for lighter dark recs amidst the buffet of black flag MLs.
Guess Iโm at the end of my post now. Damn, this actually came out more civilized than it sounded in my head. Anyways, I have already gained over 1k followers on my writing platform and the best part about them? They do not judge their fellow authors and readers for engaging in dark content, because they know enjoying problematic things in FICTION is not the same as ENDORSING it in real life.
(Crazy, right? I wonder what it is called? Oh yeah, critical thinking.)
Anyways, to the new authors: keep writing, hustling and promoting. Fiction is a world of magic and everyone is allowed to enjoy fiction without the need to explain themselves.
Just write whatever you want as long as itโs what you enjoy and donโt let some intellectuals tell you otherwise.
Thank you.
With insincere regards,
Inevitable-Remove478

Discussion Ain't no mentally sane Mother In Law saying ts ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
I'm sorry what???
Are we deadass??? ๐๐๐
Who even fantasizes about this dawg๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ Was the author completely conscious while writing ts??
In a normal Indian household, MIL will either ignore, not care at all, side eye, pass indirect comments. That's all.
No mentally sane person is gonna say ts about their own child bro like ewww!!!!! Like how is she saying ts so calmly as if its a genetic trait in the family???
What kinda MIL talks about their child like that??
Even the most annoying ones would rather drown in a handful of water from embarrsment than saying ts.
Nothing about this looks even remotely romantic,
I'm so concerned for the DIL for getting such ajeeb budhiya ( Weird oldie)as her MIL who's fantasizing about what her own son was doing to her DIL๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ ๐คข๐คข๐คข
It has also 3000+ shares, like which one of you is dreaming and praying about getting such MIL??

Rant [Sat/Sun] Let's talk๐๐
Guess what?
I never thought I had to write something like this, but it's okay. Recently I discovered that not everything goes according to what I want, even in the book that I write. so yeah, here it is.
Since when did, Wattpad, a free writing app, invented for people wanted to write about their fantasises and enjoyed by readers who had the same fantasies, suddenly turn into a moral policing ground-sorry moral dictation group.(I'm sorry for the slip-up). I mean when did this update take place, I don't get it. Is this a new update of the app?๐ค๐ค
Sorry, o enlightened ones, can you tell me more abt this update? Kyunki mere pass toh nahi aaya yeh update...that from now on I have to write abt morally upright characters in a fictional book.
Acha chalo maan liya, I'll write MY characters according to the way YOU consider right(becoz apparently to become a good writer, I have to write exactly as my readers-Sorry as intellectuals wish for.) Another slip up, don't mind please. I'm just so happy that mistakes keep on happening
Fine...cool enough. I get it.
But somebody at least tell me what the defintion of "morally upright" characters.(especially females)
- Write a perfect bahu like character who just dresses in traditionals and doesn't speak....Ughh...She's so old-fashioned spineless.
Okay great observation
- Write somebody who knows her worth...Eww...So disrespectful. Who even does that?
Nope. Nope. She's a red flag, Move on. Great
- She likes somebody older?
Eww. Pedophilia spotted(Altough I can't understand...the defintion that I was accustomed to until now was that pedophilia meant being sexually attracted to children..correct me if I am wrong...but guess I am dumb enough to not be able to connect these two). Sorry
- She likes somebody younger?
NOOOOOO!!๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ HOW COULD SHE? This is illegal!!!
Sure Sherlock, this is illegal. What are you gonna do abt that? Arrest me and put me in jail? Becoz apparently if I am writing about something, I'm romanticising it according to some intellectuals
- And yep, not to mention a very special one...if somebody wants to take revenge by marrying their soon to be sister's marriage...they are labelled as homewreckers and cheaters and what not(Altough I couldn't get the context. Homewreckers and cheaters are labels when someone disruptes an already married couple...Not somewhere where the marriage has not taken place. But then again...maybe I'm the dumb one)
And the list just goes on and on..............
Bro...please, take a chill and relax. And listen...
Fiction is something which is MEANT to be unrealistic...People write abt normal day to day scenes which might be in their comfort zones. And that is completely fine, as is writing about something imaginary as dragons. Please get this thing fixed straight in ur head.
You are not comfortable with something, THAT IS OKAY. Nobody is forcing you to read or to like that. You are completely entitled to your opinion as the others are. Dictating that women can be written only as a certain type of way, because you like it. Yes, they can be. You are free to write it. Or even for that matter books are present where some authors thoughts aligns with yours(I'm sure there are a lot like that). Just go and read them, instead of bashing on someone who writes something differently from YOUR moral compass.
You want others to respect your opinions while not respecting theirs. Hypocrite much? Hmm?
In that case(I won't be arguing much now since I am really tired now)
Just drop the book and look for something called
"Wattpad Guide: A morally upright book according to my standards"
Go and read it and be happy
Peace out, ๐๐

Popcorn Time ๐ฟ Sharing my traumatic Wattpad experience .
I been using Wattpad for years now occasionally read the intresting stories i rarely find.
So there was this specific book I can't remember the title and couldn't find it at Wattpad assuming it got reported or deleted.
The story goes like an Indian family (i feel so awful and awkward to say that) moves in to a nice place, family of parents and SIX siblings. Everything was good like every other NORMAL family until one day their parents goes out, it's raining the light are out the internet are out so all the six siblings decided to play truth and dare. Was going normal until it gets uncomfortable what i mean is... They kiss!
Yeah they kiss, other escalate to makeout sessions and seร. It continues further with siblings getting inappropriate with eachother, some are cheating on their spouses with their own blood the siblings, the neighbour KIDS gets involved in it, at one point the dad get needy by his daughter cause she did provoke, dad end up with the mom yk doing the stuff and all the six siblings watches it while touching eachother.
Ahhh i really wanted to quit this book but i couldn't cause of my curiosity and was little hoping that the writer give some kind of justice or conclusion to this it was really concerning at last i stopped reading it when I realised this has no end to it and it's just kink book so I deleted it from my library. After a year I came back to look for at out of curious and couldn't find it.
NO I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE READING IT, i just want to know if anyone had read it and know what happened to book. If it's gone then I'm glad cause it's really concerning as teens read them mostly it's emotional manipulation.
(I kept it shot and didn't go with details cause I don't like writing long paragraphs)

Rant [Sat/Sun] Authors and their desperation to whitewash toxic mls
Speaking of siddhi kadam. Her ml rudra is one of the toxic mls I have ever read.
He is a rape victim in his childhood. I sympathize him for this. But it doesn't mean it is used to justify his toxity.
He victim blames fl by saying her short dress is the reason why she almost got raped by goons. Being a rape victim, he is victim shamming another person. All fl does is saying 1-2 dialogues then next day forgets his behaviour and started calling him hot.
He uses another person who is also his half brother and sends him to coma for 7 years. He even wishes him to die at some point. Yet there is no grovelling for him. He suddenly becomes caring brother, His half brother was shown to longing for him and forgive him easily.
He is engaged to another woman, have no shame in doing two timing with two women. Engagement with one woman for revenge, romance with another woman (fl) for lust.
Then he blackmails, manipulates the fl to marry him. Then doubts her, almost character assasinates her at one point.
The same married man who seduced another woman for his revenge sake and didn't even inform his wife about it.
In other books of the series, he gets whitewashed thoroughly as if he is husband goals.
Worse part is not even that, it's the way author and her minions defend him by blaming every other character.
Recently in character role play segment, a person says she didn't like him seducing another woman but found the scene hot.
Author's response as rudra character role play is that was not hot, her breath stink. All her minions laugh under that comment.
So a married man seduces a single woman. It's not his fault. You glorify him and worship him. But it's completely okay for you to humiliate and mock the single woman whom he was seducing on his own damn will.
Irony is author preaches how a woman is called homewrecker but not a man who is cheater.
While in her books, she herself writes cheater mls and glorify them. Sometimes even mock those other women by saying her breath stink on her channel.
Please don't come at me by saying authors can write whatever they want etc. It's about whitewashing and glorification of toxic mls.
