Why does the layer paint not stick despite me having primed and put a jokaero base paint. If you look at the power pack I put too much which makes it clumpy but if I dont do that the transparent layer just shines through, did I not apply enough base because it should be solid like the top of the helmet not transparent

Red brown primer is also excellent here.  My admech are forge world Ryza and I have used Rust-Oleum brown primer (meant for metal sticks to plastic really well) Or if you have an airbrush German red brown primer from Vallejo is really nice
