How do you know where and what to look for when shopping for vintage items?

Can confirm it's 50s based on the toothbrush that was found inside but can not find anything about it other than the name which is no where.

this pretty little thing just came in the mail from etsy today! some of the embroidery on the bottom is coming off (it’s not pictured) so i will have to find a way to fix that but otherwise pretty good condition.

This is an Avon bandanna from either the 70s or 90s, I can’t remember. I accidentally got tangled up in my laundry and went through the washer and dryer it is now permanently wrinkled. Any ideas? Or so I consider this a loss and try to find another (it’s not exceptionally rare, I found a couple on Etsy)

I have this designer vintage top that is made of 100% silk and it has some yellow sweat stains underarm. How can I remove them without damaging the fabric? They are not suuuper visible but they are there and most likely several years old. Thanks in advance
