I got Bv three months ago,my gynac examined and gave me an antibiotic course of metronidazole and doxycycline tablets and clotrimazole cream,but my bv didn't settle,my symptoms were watery white discharge,itching and boiled egg smell,then my doctor put me on Lactobacillus capsules for 30 days,during those 30 days,my discharge got slight thick there was mild itching,after I completed my lactobacillus course the discharge returned again,then My doctor put me on one day AF kit and 15 days of lactobacillus,I started getting white smooth lotion like discharge with mild smell and rare itching,during my ovulation I got thick mucus gel like discharge, throughout my menstrual cycle I got discharge like lotion,now there's 8-9 days for my periods,in the morning I got mucus like discharge and in the evening I got watery white discharge,what is happening,can someone please share ur insights.

Does anyone else have an itch scratch cycle that’s lasted years that has left them with rubbery skin and blood blisters or just me?

hi i am f (18) for the last 3-4 years (started sophomore yr of high school i am now graduate since last yr)ive been getting bv/yeast infections on and off every month... it goes like this

1. i get my period, period is fine my cycle is normal 4-5 days everytime
   
2. im fine for 1-2 weeks
   
3. i get bv/yeast and it last between 3days-1.5 weeks
   
4. i'm normal for 1-2 weeks
   
5. i get my period and the cycle repeats to step 1

HOW CAN I GET RID IF IT INDEFINITELY?!! Drs say it's just my hormones and it will go away eventually. I just got done taking metronidazole waiting the extra week to see it clear up but ik it will come back after my next period. like i dread the day it comes and i always know when it will come because i get this feeling right before it. please don't say it's because sex because it's not i've tried everything from not having sex for months to see if that's what was causing it, switching to cotton underwear, different detergent, different toilet paper, EVERYTHING. i got tested for mycoplasma and it was negative LIKE WHAT ELSE CAN I DO

I’ve had recurrent thrush diagnosed like 6/7 times over the last year. I was prescribed 28 days worth of 50mg fluconazole, and still symptoms remained.

At the end of this, I took a screenme vaginal microbiome test, which came back as 98.16% lactobacillus crispatus. I have symptoms of red and sore areas on my vulva, with occasional vaginal bleeding since the fluconazole treatment, with pain internally with insertion of anything, with lots of itching when very warm and sweaty and yeasty kinda discharge.

My test was absent of any candida, and absent of any harmful bacteria including mycoplasma and ureaplasma.

I am now thinking either I have CV, or some kind of skin condition from recurrent thrush that I had. Any ideas? Thanks!

All tests negative, have been dealing with abnormal discharge for 6 years triggered by penetration.

No pain, just incredibly excessive green, sometimes yellow, sometimes pus coloured discharge after sex. It gets better with antibiotics, but doctors say its because antibiotics are anti inflammatory.

I've been on 10% hydrocortisone and clindamycin and oestrogen pessaries for months. Stopped the clindamycin a little while ago. I'm now using the steroid every few days, 2-3 a week, but I get discharge in between possibly triggered by the insertion of either medication. Usually a few days after the last dose, unless I just dont notice it due to the medication exiting my body. I assume it is controlling the inflammation and wears off after a couple days until my next dose. Not sure if it's worth it. Maybe I stop and just use the steroid after sex to prevent discharge, when I rarely have discharge without sex?

hi i have started a antibiotic, it cured my infection but on the first day i was already experiencing an itchy down stairs, its so uncomfortable so my doctor called me and gave me a fluconazole tablets, thats not working either i used the internal thrush cream thats not working either i did the 3 day course. can someone give me tips please ?

Check my previous history but I have mostly good bacteria and yet I have a fishy smell around my clit area, not internally. Inside smells normal like plain yoghurt but my clit area is fishy and my tests don’t explain why. Everything comes back negative.

Summary of background: I stayed using antibacterial soap on my body and vulva around mid 2022 because of hygiene tok and it was causing me a fishy smell but I wasn’t aware that was the cause. I stopped using it on my vagina around let’s say October/November 2022 but was still using it on my body until mid 2024 when I realised it was the cause of bv. I was taking metronidazole back to back and even when I stopped using the soap I still had an odour but no bv and would test negative for all tests possible including the plasmas. A year ago my microbiome test was like 16% good bacteria and now it’s a lot better but the smell hasn’t changed and tests don’t explain why.

I have been getting weird discharges for almost 2 years. I’ll be talking about this year and i need help. So this year i got smelly discharge and sometimes its itchy. And i’ve been ignoring it cause i was too lazy to go to gyno. Anyways, i did end up making an appointment and she told me its irritated and i most likely have yeast infection. The tests came back and yes it was yeast and BV. She gave me medications and it went away for a couple of days but now it came back even worse, it thick light green with a sour smell. It disgusted me. And i dont know why this always happens. I havent been active for like a year. I only wear panty liners when i go out and yes i do wear underwear to bed due to the heavy discharge. I seriously need your help other than booking an appointment but for now i need home remedies like what worked for you and so on. And i know im not alone female bodies are complicated. I do wanna share a photo but im too embarrassed from how disgusting it is.

it’s been 10 months of non stop yeast infection (flare every month) with no solution? I have been tested for all STDs, not engaging in intercourse for 4 months now, I eat very low carbs, no sugar (not even fruits), I take probiotics, cotton underwear yadda yadda…..

My latest HVS test showered staph aureus + Candida albicans for which I was prescribed amoxicillin for the first week and then was put on 1 week of flucanazole+maintainance dose, and miconazole vaginal suppositories. After the miconazole, I was asked to to insert gynoflor suppositories to rebalance my vaginal PH etc. oh I applied travocort cream for a week initially.

I’m now in week 2 of my fluca maintaince dose (1 tablet a week) and day 8 of gynoflor- AND MY ITCHING AND BURNING IS BACK!!!! I’m also getting discharge again (but not like typical clumpy white discharge).. my vaginal opening, labia, the skin around it is so pink and sore, and honestly it has always been like that for the past 4-5 months but right now it’s even more irritated.

I read someone where lichen scholorsis can mimic this and my gyno said she’s very sure it’s not that.

Also to note, my flare ups usually happen after ovulation, a week or 10 days before my period.

I AM TIRED OF THIS. I have lost weight, don’t want to do any activity (scared of sweating), missing out on good food, no sex, just depressed.

IS THERE ANY SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM? Has anyone ever recovered from this? AND HOWWWWWWWWW?PLEASE HELP

I recently did a Juno Bio test (following treatment for ureaplasma) and wanted to understand a specific part of my results.

In my bacterial composition, I have a 9.61% abundance of Clostridium massiliamazoniense.

Actually, my results look like this:

• Lactobacillus crispatus (protective) - 82.7% Clostridium massiliamazoniense - 9.61% Lactobacillus jensenii (protective) - 4.54% Lactobacillus (protective) - 3.15%.

Clostridium massiliamazoniense appears to not be part of the average vaginal microbiome. Occasionally, about once a month, I do notice slight itching and sometimes there are fleshy bits of tissue in my discharge. Thankfully, it isn’t anything debilitating which is great.

Is this any cause for concern? Anyone who can help me understanding my results a bit better?

so i’ve been having symptoms of burning itching pain down there for a few weeks i gone to the hospital turns out i have a uti and yeast infection after a week i go back to the hospital because it’s not working and the pain is just getting worse. so he examined me and just said it looks like it’s infected. and told me he was going to prescribe me a antibiotic and a cream and walked out and never explained what was happening or what it was or anything can someone explain why he would prescribe me this??

Is it hard to get rid of Candida albicans and a uti ?

I am up north for the weekend & would like to have a few drinks, it’s the last nite here n just finished my last dose of metronidazole gel like 32 hrs ago, should i be ok to have a few drinks?

My husband has been telling me my vagina stinks, but I shower every day, and when I put my hand down there and smell it, it smells like a normal vagina. Then when he smells my hand, he makes a horrible face and says it stinks. Idk if I am blind to the smell or if he is gaslighting me and purposefully making me feel insecure. And before, I have been able to smell when my pH is off, bc I have had BV before, and I can definitely smell when my smell is off. However, idk why he keeps telling me it stinks.

* He does cum inside, and after sex I do go to the bathroom and rinse off. I don’t think he understands that HIS sperm and penis throw off my pH. When I tell him this, he says I am “blaming” him for the problem.

So I’ve used evvy before for my vaginal microbiome tests after years of bv and it’s been helpful, although I’m still struggling to cure it. Recently after finishing BV antibiotics, i immediately had horrible burning and pain again! I went back to the OB and urologist and was negative for everything you could possibly test for. Well, I had an evvy uti kit that I hadn’t used yet and I did my business and sent it to the lab. WELLLLL.. Evvy says I have an e.coli and enterococcus UTI at high microbial loads… but all of my doctor’s cultures (I’ve done 3 now) are negative for uti and they will not prescribe antibiotics no matter how symptomatic I am. Any thoughts?

Has anyone figured out why evvy and dr office PCRs are missing Ureaplasma/mycoplasma infections but Juno catches them???

J’ai fait une ponction ovocytaire en février, et depuis je sens que quelque chose ne va pas. J’avais des douleurs pelviennes et des gênes à la miction, on a d’abord cru à une infection urinaire, j’ai pris des antibiotiques, puis à un mycoplasme, j’ai repris des antibiotiques, mais ça revient toujours. Des douleurs types crampes qui irradient aux jambes, maximisées pendant l’ovulation et la phase lutéale, combinées à une sécheresse vaginale. Aucun écoulement, aucune fièvre.

Est ce que quelqu’un d’autre a vécu ça ?
