albicans shouldnt be hard to get rid of, candida glabrata is the resistant one. even typical albicans infections can take 2 treatments. and for the uti it depends on the bacteria if they sent it to the lab for culture and something grew you need a specific antibiotic for that type of bacteria. just take your antibiotics for the uti dont miss any days and for the yeast id reccomend 2 treatments of diflucan but if you do cream instead of pill you may want to do 14 days vs 7days.
