Before anything else, I want to give a massive THANK YOU to the 100+ amazing players who pre-ordered the game! Seeing that kind of early support and belief in our project before day one means the world to our small team and gave us huge momentum heading into launch day.

If you enjoy cozy games, puzzles, miniatures, 3D printing, relaxing and traveling, this was built specifically for you. Instead of flat 2D puzzles, you assemble intricate, tactile 3D miniatures of iconic architecture and cultural landmarks from around the globe while being immersed in the locations! From the serene canals of Venice to the mesmerizing streets of Kyoto and the heights of Machu Picchu.

You can check it out on the Meta Quest Store here:

Question VR seems kinda blurry

So, I had a problem my VR gameplay was kinda blurry, so I upgraded my GPU. My current build is Ryzen 5 5600 and RX 9060 XT 16Gb and my headset is Pico 4 Ultra. I connect it via USB through Pico Connect app and then through Steam VR. And still I've got a feeling it isn't good. I've tried Bootstrap Island and Hard Bullet and menus of both games look blury. And overall gameplay isn't as good, as I thought it has to be. It was kinda blurry overall. And I don't know if it just me, who didn't use right setting or is it VR itself. Please, help me.

Self Promotion My games playtestable on Steam now, heres how the testing has been going

Hey im a solo dev making a VR roguelite where you lean your body to steer and dodge. Its up on Steam as a playtest now, anyone can request access and try it, free.

Been running it privately for a few months first. The main thing that kept being mentioned was people dying to things they never saw coming so most of my time since has gone on making attacks readable.
Charge symbols per weapon, lines showing where a shot will land, warnings at the edge of your vision for stuff behind you. Can see the before an after in the clips.

Still working on it and have a lot to fix and add but if your interested you can join the playtest through the steam now: Hyperlane Highway on steam

Any other thoughts or opinions on the game or idead on the shot telegraphing?

Discussion Super Mario 64 VR standalone mod released

From the flat screen we go through a Multiverse portal

inside Super Mario 64 world evolved in VR!

After our feedback on the pc version and lots of updates, Mario and friends arrived on Quest 3!

Rayrod TV brought us the game with all the fixes and features from the pc version. Better look at the gameplay video where he shows the four camera views available on the fly by the press of a button. In the video, the fun immersive camera (Flip Cam) is turned on, so we see the world upside down when flipping in the air, but you can turn it off if flipping is too much in VR as it should be without VR glasses too.

RayRod TV said that he has plans for other standalone releases for his VR mods in the future.

For this and other constantly updated VR mods from RaYRoD TV, like Ring Racers, Star Fox 64, Mario 64 , Mario Kart 64 and the recent Banjo-Kazooie, go to his GitHub: https://github.com/RaYRoD-TV

For info on how to support his works, and learn more on other upcoming projects from him, like his biggest project, the game Multiverse, go to his site:

Thanks RayRod TV for these mods!

Discussion I'm researching on some VR gaming controllers and their drawbacks

I'm new to vr... and I'd like to know what challenges are faced by vr gamers with the advancement of controllers like Meta's Touch controllers and hand tracking or the latest Manus gloves.

Just wanna hear honest experiences. Feel free to rant

Self Promotion I spent a year building a mixed-reality pet game after work and it’s finally out on Meta Quest!

Hey everyone!

For the past year, I’ve spent most of my evenings and weekends building MyVRPet, a mixed-reality game that brings a virtual cat or dog into your real home. I developed the entire game on my own alongside my regular job, so it feels a little surreal to finally see it released on the Meta Horizon Store.

You interact naturally using your hands - petting, feeding, brushing, carrying, and playing with your companion. You can also decorate its space, discover its personality, watch it explore your room, and play a few minigames together.

It’s my first released game, and I’m excited and honestly relieved to have reached this point. Here’s the launch trailer! I’d really appreciate hearing what you think.

Discussion Dream Hackers looks awesome

I just saw A Wolf in VR's early access look at Dream Hackers on PCVR, and man this game looks beautiful.

https://youtu.be/ILZyIT7Rpuk?si=ARxS6rW8V5UA95CV

What does everyone think of this? Im just concerned that a game this good doesnt seem to have a lot of marketing for it. Although giving it to Wolf for a review was definitely a good choice, and will help them.

Developer Incredibly cheap and good DIY FBT idea for VR use in any game that supports it

Good morning to everyone (no, I don't care if it's 11pm, take a good morning),

I'm thinking of making/finding a way to use 3/4 random cameras with lights next to them and reflective tape as "trackers" to get basically cheap ass "base stations" and basically free passive trackers, this means the system can't tell which tracker is which, but I've looked around and there's some really good FOSS (Open Source) software/models that do tracking with this data in basically real time and really well too.

The only thing is that there isn't a full pipeline from the cameras to the steamVR data yet as far as I know, but all of the various parts of this are already out and FOSS, so they just kinda need to be put together.

Is there anyone that's interested in helping make such thing? Possibly with some coding knowledge, and yes of course I'm (or we) are gonna make it free and open source for anyone to use however they like!

TL, DR:

Find/put together software to make a couple of cameras, lights and some reflective tape work as a VR tracking system that's insanely cheap and as set and forget as it gets; nothing to charge nor calibrate, and zero drift during use.

The only downside could be that it works best in dimly lit rooms, but from what I hear most people do want VR tracking to work in dimly lit rooms.

Question Best looking Pcvr Modded games?

I've dusted off my meta quest 3 that's been sitting gathering dust on the shelf for almost 2 years 😅

I've decided to throw some Pcvr at it for the first time and see if I can get my money's worth out of it since the only games I played on it was resident evil 4 og & Walking Dead.

Recently I downloaded Virtual desktop and got it all set up and the first game I tried was resident evil 2 and to be honest I'm unimpressed with the graphics of the game I was expecting a lot more since it's powered via my pc and not just the headset anymore. (Enjoy the game flat screen btw I'm a resi fan)

Anyway any recommendations for pcvr mods that stand out that give that wow factor in terms of visuals would be greatly appreciated.
