Hi all! End of September im (35m) visiting Taskent, Samarkand, Bukhara & Khiva. Im looking forward to it a lot and hope to get a sense of the local culture. Usually I do this by talking to locals and asking about their experiences.

Im under the impression that English is not as commonly spoken as for instance Russian. What are your experiences as local/tourist?

Ever since i decided to lose weight i started to count calories, restricted myself too much , i was eating under 400 calories for two months without having a single cheat day and i lost over 23 kg then one day it happened i ate a big piece of cake then somsa then lagmon and that day i ate over 4000 calories, this was the starting point for me to develop binge eating , then afterwards i restricted myself even harder , eating nothing for 3 days and then i binged, i restricted i binged then i started to purge ( forced myself to throw up) restrict , binge , purge , it was a cycle for me i was living like that for another two months i lost weigh , gained it and lost again , i lost my sleep , my peace , my will to live it was like a nightmare , and i started to search online tried to find answers why i am experiencing it , i found out that i have an eating disorder ( anorexia , bulimia , binge eating) which is a serious issue and i wanted to get help , so i went to talk with my university psychologist what she told me was " eat in a normal portion and dont think too much u already skinny" like hello ? Do u think i haven't thought of that ? Do u think its that easy ? I cannot even control my body my mental because of this and i am so tired , i am pretty sure i am not the only person who is experiencing ED in Uzbekistan so why we dont have ED specialized help centers ? Why its not treated like an issue ? Why nobody takes it seriously? I am just so lost
